Blizz is using 1.12 because thats what the nost team did. In actual 1.12 PVP gear was available to everyone to purchase with honor points instead of having to have any rank. Do you think thats how Classic should release as well? IMO Classic should be released on a patch per patch basis as was done originally, anything less will result in people coming to these forums and complaining.

You’re mistaking the TBC pre-patch (2.0.1) with 1.12.

If some keyboard turning, spell clicker from 2004 were sent forward in time to 2019 and started a new character, he should say “This is as hard as it was in my time.” That’s what I want from content retuning. If players are better at MMOs, then so be it. Just adjust for patch 1.1 to 1.12 power creep.
