They have been able to do this for ages, yet they keep nerfing the PvE aspect, to get the desired PvP balance! Its off putting and not a good way at all to balance a class/spec!

as long as ret isnt back to the bottom of the barrel again 3% isnt a bad deal. ret really was overperforming… and thats coming from a ret main. honestly im just happy to be rid of all the buttons ill take 3%. but maybe we should look into balancing some of the other specs “outperforming” at the same time.

Ret was the lowest represented spec in high-end gameplay, and has been for WoW’s entire existence. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for Ret to be good for once.

Should we be balancing classes around the MDI groups? They do some amazing things in their clears most of us could never dream of accomplishing.

You do not balance around the top of the very top end players.

to be fair there are similar or higher keys being done with 4 dps, none of which are ret. I think some have no paladin at all. That might be a general healer relevancy issue, rather than a ret-specific one

You guys are a joke. 3% nerf for what, top on 2 bosses Brood and Ras, which Rets damage profile excels at. Then you nerf fading light into OBLIVION, whats the point of using it now? Clowns.

To be fair… Shaman and Druids got smashed for a reason early xpac.

These reworks are going to take time to get in a good state, though it’s great to see they didn’t just kill Ret off the back of all the drama.

The rework was an opportunity for blizzard to change the class fantasy for rets and the other specs for pally.

They ABSOLUTELY FAILED at it and this is the ripple effect it is causing.

INSTEAD of listening to the players who pay money and a patch for those to “have a voice” BLIZZARD constantly keep ignoring players.

INSTEAD all they did was buff our dps, increase our cleave, give us a few new modified defensives – why consecration and divine steed are still in our a toolkit, I have no idea!

We FINALLY starting performing and people wanna sulk about it.

The overload of pallies show there has been some improvement with the rework – the influx is not a surprise (specially if you have been playing wow for awhile) and the sulking from other players is PURELY because no one have seen rets perform in many expansions -PURELY because blizzard keep failing at this class.

SO YEAH – bull**** move from Blizzard as per usual.

I’m just thankful they didn’t gut how it plays. It’s actually fun again for the first time in who knows how long. If they change how it feels to play now I may just quit. They always do this weird thing where a spec feels good to play and they change things around to a point where it’s clunky and awkward to play instead of just doing math.

its amazing how other classes can be way over-tuned and destroying the game for an entire season and the moment ret becomes fun to play in m+ you go ahead and start picking at it week after week with these nerfs.
