Remove instrument of retribution, Itâs bad for gameplay, have been begging for years, hoping your teammate dies during prog is just awful :), unfun.
Yup itâs really sad. So apparently something needs to be done about PVP, ok, thatâs why we have separate PVP modifiers, please use those in the future.
You all are talking about how bad itâs been for sooooooo longâŚthe patch has been out for two weeks, we did well in pve for two weeks. And we know how this goes as weâve seen it before, this will be the first of a series of nerfs.

This is a ridiculous, sensationalist take.
Every single statistic pointed to them being warranted a minor nerf in PVE. You canât just look at the +2âs people run where burst specs always overperform and make decisions based on that. At the top end they werenât even a statistical outlier. Near the top yes, but not in their own category.
I think the 3% nerf was warranted, however if they go any further Iâd argue theyâre clinically insane or need to fire everyone who does math for them. I also look forward to the buffs they will 100% unquestionably give Ret when it doesnât scale as well as other specs with the redesign in later patches. Thanks in advance Blizz for being 100% on top of that.
As far as the 12 people who play PVP, idc. Use the sliders and donât ever go back to making the mistake of tuning in PVE to have a desired outcome in PVP.

Yes your opinion is not valid if it based off unranked bgs.
Streamers say anything they can to get more views on their twitch and youtube.
What they say is usually very far from accurate.
I would suggest you try playing in a high mmr ranked environment and then make a decision for yourself instead of blindly following someone who says anything to get more views.

I can agree with you, I am glad they did not start with an over-nerf which has happened to others in the past.
I think for me the issue isnât the nerf itself, itâs the notion that we have had other specs just entirely dominate pve in the past for a season (or more) and they are left alone to do so.

A maximum of 4 underpowered Flash Heals is not going to âkeep the group aliveâ. Itâs barely half my health bar if I put them all on myself. Oh, but I can sacrifice a ton of my DPS for a Word of Glory or maybe two to throw a heal on a tank that barely tickles them.
We are only a âhybridâ in that we can be a healer OR a DPS OR a tank, there is almost zero overlap in those roles. You get to pick ONE and only ONE. I still get mulched if the tank dies or I draw aggro. If the healer goes down, my option is a) battle rez them, b) hope we can pull it out without healing or c) release and run back.
Whatâs the matter, you afraid you arenât going to be able to go spinny-spin as a warrior in the middle of a pack and top the meter anymore?

All the Ret hate is hilarious, itâs almost like making no significant changes to the toxic interactions in with burst (especially in PvP) was a terrible idea.

So much this! They need to stop nerfing PvE for the sake of a side game called PvP!
They have been able to do this for ages, yet they keep nerfing the PvE aspect, to get the desired PvP balance! Its off putting and not a good way at all to balance a class/spec!
