Retiring Seething Shore

I think it’s about time to retire the Seething Shore.
It was fun for a while but with us progressing past BfA I think it kinda doesn’t make sense as a BG anymore.

I dunno man, I just really dislike it now a days and I really miss being able to downvote maps. Maybe that’s what you should do @Blizz, just let us down vote maps again.

It’s one of two pve bg’s that ally win consistently :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know … I have one of my better records in that.

My better record is also seething shore, but winning it doesn’t make it fun

I have a 171% win rate in SS. 12 wins in 7 games.

I feel like as an individual player, you can have a large impact on this map. I’m not a huge fan of the map, but you can definitely carry some teams in it.

Personally I am not a fan of retiring maps. Maybe just allow us to queue by type such as CTF, etc in the future, but I like random truly being random.

Bingo…

Seething shore is perhaps one of the best PvP maps in regards to player skill and impact players can make on the outcome. By being able to float and stop caps or ninja them. To read the map and targets. It’s a great map. I have enjoyed it in both casual and RBG play. Think Seething shore has a learning skill cap and people get lost in fights so they lose.

Yeah, most randoms don’t know how to be useful in that map. You could have near zero KBs and single handedly win that match without your teammates understanding that you did it.

Still, probably one of my least favorite maps. I’m a sucker for CTF and Bases like AB. Temple is probably the only map I dislike more than Seething Shore.

I will agree with you on being able to down vote maps but I honestly like Seething Shore.
