I’m glad Thrall killed Garrosh. If the leader of a certain faction dies and if they truly care about them that much then i understand why they would unsubscribe. I’m sure people unsubscribed permanently when Varian was killed and I understand their reasoning and I have nothing to fight with them about. It’s what they loved the most about a game and it was taken away. Nothing wrong with unsubscribing with a decision they didn’t like. Freedom to choose is one of the best gifts ever of what the player wants to do.

Do you mean the direction of the story? Probably not bring characters with no co-development with the forsaken out of nowhere to influence them
I quit until BFA because of WoD’s alternate timeline focus, yes I’m aware of Caverns of Time, but just as well it’s just a strange feeling to sidestep into a continent that will never matter again. Looks like I made the right call, judging by that “Draenor is free” cinematic, where Yrel didn’t even show sickening body language next to an unrepentant Grom.
The gameplay is average to me, consistent, but the lore is the reason why I like this game. Could say it’s my own fault to be a fan of lore that constantly slaps you in the face, but really what’s it for other than to entertain people? Therefore, criticism toward the lore is kinda necessary and shouldn’t really be unexpected.

Plenty of people quit when Varian died. It also comes down to the fact that it’s not your choice whether you do or don’t believe people will quit for a certain reason, whether it’s lore not just actual gameplay. It’s not your choice, it’s theirs. I am one who will unsubscribe, are you saying I won’t unsubscribe? I have several guild mates who are saying if Blizzard kills her off then they will be done also. Is that their choice or yours if they quit or not? It honestly sounds like it’s their choice.
