I’m liking this not because retail is the best (It isn’t), but because I like the confidence of the comment.
Leveled my Retail DK at a leisurely pace … did the entirety of Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountain, South Barrens, and 1k needles quests for loremaster and a smattering of dungeons (2-3 a day prob about 30 runs total). Ended up at lvl 58.5 With rested xp til i hit about 50 (and my heirlooms worked til 40). So there is plenty of “leveling” hours in the game. Takes 15-20hrs to get to DF content on your warrior? Good thing there are 11 other classes you can experience leveling with (

Nostalgia has no effect on me personally so classic was literally a joke to me. I’ve been there and done that, no appeal to playing archaic and ancient designed games where the community will gatekeep even worse than they do on the retail version of the game.
The problem with WoW is that both classic and retail communities refuse to realize that it’s not actually 2004 anymore and nobody wants to put up with anybody. The #1 competitor treats their game and players with so much more respect especially respect for your time. Blizzard designs everything to be abusive of your time to the point where you either pay up in real money for tokens or you pay the community to boost you. I know the delusional people around here will claim that’s not real but WoW is an unpaid job so all of you are looking to make a profit for your own time spent.

Blizzdrones defense force on full alert for this thread. Game is hemorraging players at an insane rate meanwhile classic see’s a huge resurgance after 18 years. This current mountsmogscheevo collectathon game design truely sucks. And i say that as someone who plays an equal amount of classic and retail.
