For someone who isn’t defensive or upset you seem to be slinging around insults willy nilly. I’m starting to question if you’re as kosher as you say you are.
Again if this is the case it would be better to not make topics over and over saying NOCHANGES. because nothing will change, by spamming the forums and arguing and insulting people you only bring more attention to the people who want changes.
Also I never talked down to anyone until I was insulted. Even then I never called you guys idiots or morons.
The world is black/white and classic/retail are insanely different beasts. People asking for a few changes aren’t asking for BFA meets Classic, meets WC3 or something. Pretty sure there is a middle ground so saying “GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUN- I MEAN RETAIL” isn’t a valid argument.
And there are quest helper addons in classic, i’m using questie now. So no reason not to just add the built in one.
As I said having a simple toggle option removes any impact on someone who doesn’t want it.
The mount/pet tab is actually a gameplay change as mounts/pets no longer are usable items and not something an add on can enable. Although I want to say bagnon will display them in a separate tab if you want in classic.
Ya, you see… yet again… we didn’t say or do much the first time around that people like you started doing this exact same thing. Then the devs started to cave because they disn’t see much pushback. And look at retail. It’s not “slippery slope”, it’s wanting to not do the exact same thing and expect different results. So this time you can be sure we aren’t just sitting back n letting the demands roll on in You don’t like Classic? Then it’s not for you. Bye!
Your argument of “if you don’t like it then just don’t use it” was already debunked by head man Tom himself as well as other devs. It’s not an argument at all. Soooo no. No. Again, because you morons I guess take awhile to understand basic concepts… NO. No. Nope. Nadda. Nine. No. No. Nooooooo. NO.
But you said nothing will change by order of the peaky blinders… I mean Blizzard. So again with you guys with the juggernaut of Blizzard behind you and you guys are the supposed majority. Why are you scared of us “vocal minorities” to the point you need to use fallacies and come off as bible belt 80’s conservatives?
It’s not think of the children though, it’s “Won’t someone think of Vanilla?!”
it leads to people needing gear they normally wouldn’t for transmog.
it increases the price of items on the auction house as now people take looks into account of the items value.
it negatively impacts enchanters because now it’s more expensive to level enchanting.
it impacts pvp because now you cannot accurately gauge the power of an opponent.
what is the purpose of classic wow? it is to be an authentic recreation of vanilla wow. what you want goes against that. of course people are going to take exception to that. who gets to decide what change is “Good” and what change is “Bad”. Somehow i’m not surprised you are ignoring that question (i’ve asked it multiple times now).
except it’s not a quality of life change. it impacts how the game is played. that by definition makes it not a quality of life change.
Every single addon that exists now that didn’t in 2006 impacts gameplay. Some of them drastically change your experience, even if you aren’t using them. E.g: Spy.
No he specifically mentioned that add on by name. And mentioned that very specific functionality that might become required would be looked at.
Add ons like questie do not become required, exist in classic, blizzard seems to have no problem with them existing in classic, existed in vanilla and as such there’s no reason not to just add the built in version now if there’s a toggle for the pure nostalgia seekers.
