@retail players asking for change

what is the design goal of classic wow? it is intended to be an authentic recreation of vanilla wow. that is it. adding post vanilla changes makes it not live up to its design goal.

He also said FOR EXAMPLE. He also was not the only dev saying this. Over. And over. And over. And over. I don’t know how many times you idiots need told no but I am more than happy to help! Noooooooooo.

And there’s a ton of things about it anyways that are making it a non authentic experience.

Adding certain QoL improvements especially if they can be optional does not negatively impact an already inauthentic experience.

Yes!!!

for a group that says the slippery slope is a fallacy, you like to prove otherwise all the time.

who gets to decide which changes are good or bad?

No. Hey, incase you didn’t get the memo from Bliz? No.

Well since I specifically said things that can easily be toggled off? That actually wouldn’t matter at all if you don’t like them because you wouldn’t be using them.

Hey incase you didn’t get the memo this is a forum for discussion. We’re having a discussion about what changes would make sense.

maybe you did - but others wouldn’t be happy with that. what about the guy who wants transmog? no easy answer to that is there?

Run. Groups. With. Your. Guild.

None of the issues will happen if your raid with your guild or friends. The biggest thing you nochangers stated was the making friends and social aspects of the game. So there’s no excuse. Also there are plenty of greens that drop solo and from quests to d/e. Many professions get insanely expensive at end game.

Like a toggle on/off option for LFD?

These morons refuse to accept anything other than what they want. Classic isn’t perfect. I know there are things about it that bug the hell out of me. But I don’t want changes. I can use reason and logic to understand WHY as well! Because there is no way to tell what changes will lead where or have what impact on the game. Classic is a resounding success. No need to fix what ain’t broke (in regards to changes not bug fixes if you’re trying to be nit picky). I can also accept the fact that HEY! I don’t get to have games change to how I want! I play the games that i like, not change them to suit me! It’s extremely selfish and childish to think that’s acceptable. So, you must treat them like children. Tell them no repeatedly until they give up.

None would. No. Nope. Nadda. None. NO. Nooooooooooooo.

/shrug I’ll let him debate the merits of adding transmog.

But thank for agreeing that things should be decided on a case by case basis instead of blindly just chanting #nochanges like a bad cult.

so now i’m forced to run with my guild because your change. see there is another change that happens. i can no longer pug if i want to pug.

none will happen with transmog not in classic either.

and yet, introducing something that can lead to people ninjaing items from others because of the way it looks runs contrary to that.

so see. you’re already making excuses. i pointed out that your change impacts gameplay and you’ve moved onto “well just deal with it”.

you still haven’t told me who gets to decide what changes are good for the game and which are bad?

These derps don’t realize, I have a 6 year old with adhd and odd… they won’t win…

Ultimately blizzard will, just like they have with plenty of other things.

All we can do is offer feedback on what we do or do not want. And just chanting #nochanges without any reasons why is not a compelling argument.

They do of course! Only THEIR changes matter! Meanwhile they are told a resounding no by blizzard and the rest of us that want Classic left alone as is…

and blizzard has already spoken on the issue.

we’ve given plenty of reasons. you ignore them.
chief among them is what classic was designed to be. you ignore that just by asking for changes.
