Then you have nothing to worry about.
Small group??? You are aware that there was a petition signed by hundreds of thousands of players who wanted vanilla legacy servers right??
If anything the small group is the people that are asking for quality of life changes from retail.
We want our game to remain the same as it was back then. We just got the game after over 10 years asking for it, and yet everyone and their dog suddenly has a suggestion on how to change it or fix it somehow to make it more palatable to their gaming needs.
If you donât like Classic the way it is then donât play it. You donât see me going into the retail forums suggesting changes to the game to revert things back to the way it was in older expansions do you???
Where did I write claiming to speak for everyone?
Lots signed it but this isnât like signing the Constitution with everything laid out. I doubt half those people knew what exactly what weâd be getting. Hell, half the people who are nochangers are still mad itâs not an earlier patch.
Uh. thatâs not how that works lol. Theyâve broken many addons over the years for one reason or another.
Why are there so many idiots arguing against ânochangesâ? No changes is telling everyone what Blizzard themselves have stated repeatedly and at great length. Changes will not be coming to Classic. Bug fixes? Sure. But this is as close to Vanilla as they could get it, as they have stated, and it will REMAIN as such. You idiots are not arguing against us, you are trying to tell the creators of the game you individual desires outweigh years of work and planning. You are arguing against blizzard, not us. THEY clearly stated you will not get QoL improvements. Period. We only AGREE with that. This is a hard concept to grasp, I knowâŚ
And actually it was a very small group that wanted exactly replicas of 1.12. There was a huge range of what people wanted that fall into the category of classic servers.
Why are you getting so worked up if nothing will change? It makes no sense and doesnât have an effect on you in any shape or form.
It doesnât matter whether or not we knew what we were going to be getting⌠That is completely irrelevant. What mattered was that we knew exactly what it was that we wanted and was asking from Blizzard. In what realm or universe does asking for this constitute an excuse or reason for changes to be made to the game later on? We wanted vanilla servers for a reason. We didnât like what retail had become and had no interest in playing it. This is the reason that many of us were on private servers prior to this
It was more of a not at launch and weâll see later.
Well this is later.
Well since nobody here saying #nochanges has done any actual research, Iâll do it for you,
THE GAME IS CHANGING, IT WILL CHANGE, AS PATCHES ARE APPLIED.
This should be complicated to understand:
We will see content released, like Dire Maul BWL, AQ20 and 40 Naxx - as we all know. The PVP system will also launch, including the honor system and BGs later. A _change_will also be introduced, cross server battleground queuing. Oh, and the AV you enjoyed in classic, they are launching the retail version of it. No changes right?
Several patches, 1.6 and 1.7 include class balance and major talent overalls. THIS IS A CHANGE, TO THE GAME. Hope your ready for more changes.
In 1.9, paladins get a 15 min timer on their blessings. I wonder if all the paladins will scream no changes then.
But, #nochanges right?
I cannot see through all the dense people in these forums sometimes. The game will change as you play it, I fail to see how asking for changes, when changes already coming, is a bad conversation to have.
It is relevant because you make it sound like everyone was on the same boat for exactly what they wanted out of Classic but that clearly isnât the case. So why are you trying to speak for large swaths of people simply because they signed a petition?
I can sign a petition to have more donuts. What kinds of donuts those will be isnât exactly specified so assuming everyone wants glazed is a giant assumption, even if we agree we all want donuts.
I canât believe your argument is showing Blizzardâs content patch plan for Classic, their recreation of it.
Are you serious or trolling? lolâŚ
Not worked up, just tired of idiot after idiot after idiot⌠gets real old when people refuse to accept things. Idiots just donât care it seems. Each of em are special! THEY demand THEIR change! Blizzard be damned, everyone else is wrong! MMMMeEEEeEEEEeeeeEEEE! GIMME! Classic is what it is. Itâs not changing. Enjoy it, or leave. Those really are the only options. Of course you could pay to play a game you donât enjoy while whining and crying into the wind how unfair it is that you donât get what you want⌠but that seems pretty dumb to me.
No. It was a no changes. They want as close to Vanilla as they can get it. Their own words. QoL changes are not in that statement or mindset. QoL changes goes against their exact intentions and what they have stated. No. Changes. Get used to it.
what changes have actually impacted game play?
some bugs that blizzard is investigating and fixing?
layering? yeah layering impacts the way the game is played, and is really all you need to understand why no changers want vanilla unchanged.
what other changes have occurred? battle.net integration and color blind mode? both of these were a forgone conclusion to anyone familiar with blizzard games.
okay - whose idea of what is an improvement and whose idea of what made retail bad? because two different people will have a different opinion on the matter.
but classic was never designed to be anything but a time capsule. if you played it despite that, and intend to try to change that, i would point to the fact that the people who fought for classic did so because the game they enjoyed became something else.
how do you think they feel about you trying to take away what they fought for?
Only 3 posts total so he must be a shadow alt⌠Seems like the perfect recipe for a troll to me
i agree here, but who decides which were âgoodâ and which were âbadâ?
except this is what the people who wanted classic asked for. an unchanging game. stop trying to change what is supposed to be unchanged, itâs getting silly.
if you want changes, you have a game where those can happen.
You see, here is where the problem is. You keep calling people idiots yet youâre here defending something that you say will never change, so in reality who is the idiot by your logic?
Again why are you here? None of this talk will change your game play, these opinions wonât affect you. So why do you care? Lots of people have different opinions than me. i donât see the need to go and call them idiots and talk about how theyâre wrong and Iâm right yet still act all upset, while saying Iâm not upset.
Good grief it gets sillier and sillier.
The reason that Caxtren is replying to you and everyone else who wants changes in such a manner, is because thatâs how we got to where retail is right now.
People on the forums crying whining and raging to get their way and Blizzard caved and gave them what they wanted. We donât trust that Blizzard will have the necessary restraint to continually tell players no. Eventually if we allow you people to have your way those changes will get put into the game anyway.
Therefore in every thread that is like this we will voice our opinion just like everyone else
