Odd because I literally turn off the stream watching Cata.
Wrath was horrible lol
When wrath started most people talked about how much better BC was. When Cataclysm started most people talked about how much better Wrath was. Over time though, most people talk positively about BC and Wrath, along with Mists, WoD (for pvp gearing only), and sometimeâs legion in regards to pvp. Cataclysm, WoD (actual pvp gameplay), BFA and Shadowlands have not stood the test of time. Shadowlands actual gameplay wasnât too bad IMO, but the gearing process and the expansion itself was pretty crap.
Obviously itâs all subjective in the end, but Iâm talking about the general population. I havenât heard too many people say wrath pvp was horrible though, excluding s5.

yeah viewership sucks for cata pvpers compared to retail. I imagine thatâs why blizz is paying them otherwise they wouldnât even bother. Who knows which ones got paid and didnât but one of the bigger retail pvp streamers said heâs getting sponsered by blizz to play it.

Isnât it pretty common to play and stream the latest hyped thing until interest dies off in 2-3 weeks
Iâm not going watch a week worth of 6 hour a day streams trying to find exactly where he said it but he clearly told everyone âI was already going to play cata but blizz is sponsoring me to play it so I might as wellâ
go ask ruki in his stream, maybe heâll address it again. Not like it really matters because it will die in a month anyway. He was getting less than half his usual viewership playing cata.
maybe for the smaller streamers trying to get any viewership and direction they can but pika didnât even bother playing it this time. Most streamers I watched didnât look like they are having fun, just going through the motions.

honestly, 2s isnât too bad if you can pump. Iâm not saying to climb in but just to play for conq. the higher you go itâs just cancer teams but yea, you can farm some solid conq for a while

This describes any streamer ive ever watched play. Theyâre all doing mmorpg content for hours every day. Its all going through the motions and youâre fooling yourself otherwise. Pikaboo, all of them. Its their job man. Theyâre professional entertainment.

I love Venruki. Heâs such a down to earth dude and a positive influence in the community.
Besides that, Cata is awful. Itâs a lesser form of retail and Iâm not sure why blizzard is trying to push it on us. I would imagine it would be to sell character level boost.
