lfg has been dead the entire xpac. even 2’s is dead. 13k 3s games and 13k shuffle games in the last 72 hours.
That means every 30 minute dps que + playing 6 rounds through is only equal to 1 single game done in 3s lfg.

I imagine only sweaty/retail glad-r1 teams care enough to play cata (for the pvp, or unless they are just really bored, or trying to relive nostalgia days).
Cata is way less casual friendly pvp-wise, and has an enhanced version of pretty much every element that people complain about on retail (e.g., more cc, faster kills, more imbalance, etc.).
Not to mention all the sweaty af stuff I’ve heard about like weapon swapping, doing a bunch of snapshotting, abusing weird pet dismiss stuff, etc.
Guess I’m not everyone 
I shall stick to retail for all things pvp (even though I’m not playing cata, I do feel that classic versions of the game are better pve-wise) [e.g., I still play sod and look forward to p4, mess around on hardcore sometimes when I have time and want to chill].

a streamer admitted they are all literally getting sponsored by blizz to play cata. I’d rather play age of empires 4 in gold league when I’m drunk then level a char on cata for pvp.

Use quotes around dead, like this: “dead”.
So retail is “dead”, and Wildstar killed it, errr I mean cata or whatever.
Anyway, Q times for random/epics are unchanged and still rolling. Q up.

Never played this game (heard of it though), but yeah same here. I’d rather play overwatch, a battle royale game (my main other than wow games), maybe even some hearthstone 
I played classic vanilla-tbc-wotlk all the way through, and had a blast, but cata caught up to where I more or less did everything in that expansion that there was to do minus 3 heroic kills (rag, spine, dw).
I never did much pvp back then (mop was when I made the big shift from pve to pvp), but I do remember how awesome the pvp elite sets were for rogue and hpal. If they let you earn those in cata and let the mogs be usable on retail, I would def try to push for those.
Oh, I also had the legendary daggers, and I remember that I was so bad at the time that I still peaked at like 1800 doing 2s with my cousin [e.g., only had 1-6 keybound/clicked everything else, keyboard turner, only macro I had was for tricks of the trade, pretty sure my only addons were dbm and recount] 
Good times though, wouldn’t trade them for anything. Bgs were fun too

Yeah I quit at the end of tbc back in the day. It’s just depressing going back for me. I leveled during lockdowns when they relaunched classic and it was awful. I only played it because shadowlands was so bad and I had nothing else to do. Those games suck now. Dragonflight has been way better.
The only thing retail is missing is being able to play with friends easily. 3s are beyond dead and I don’t know what they could possible do to ever fix that. Trying to make friends or bring friends into 3s is a nightmare.
Bg blitz duo que could be very fun but I wish it was more like regular bgs with some team fight maps and some objectives instead of just zooming around the map trying to tag nodes first.
Shuffles have been fun. Played a lot of specs this xpac. But we need something else, bg blitz really needs to be good.

Devs are awful at trying to figure out pvp so we have a dead game.

Literally no one is playing cata we’re all on Remix
There are 5 versions of WoW right now. (Hardcore, Classic, SoD, Cata, Retail). A good portion of the WoW community plays multiple different versions, even if they only play some of them when it’s hot. We saw SoD die off a little bit when S4 DF, Cata Prepatch, and Mop Remix dropped. Soon, SoD will see Phase 4 and you will see slightly lower participation in every other version and people who stopped playing in general come back to it.
I’ll never understand the draw that is replaying classic, bc, wrath, cata If you already experienced it.

No-one is doing PvP rn dude MoP Remix is PvE only
From what I hear from other people, it’s how the classes were design, including talents, etc.
