druids still have many ways to counter a ret. Maybe you’ll have a hard time doing it by yourself, but that’s why you run with a partner who can peel.

Like if youre having youre struggling with ret i cant imagine the nightmares you have vs other melee

Lol I don’t struggle with ret. Like 80% of them depend on the wheelchair to carry them so they can’t use their cd’s right. There is no doubt a well played and well geared ret is extremely destructive.
Honestly though I wouldn’t complain about any class as a shaman. Most of your gameplay is afk ghost wolf. Its even easier than ret.
I would hardly say that Ret is the king of 1v1. They are strong for sure, but there are plenty of classes that can handle a Ret 1v1, you just can’t get greedy. I get it though, Ret isn’t even a main for me, and they can definitely seem overpowered if you don’t have any peels on cooldown. They are 100% able to put out a ton of damage, and the rotation is face-roll. That being said, they are clearly countered by a good portion of the top tier of the meta, and are not nearly as strong as other melees. The issue is that their damage comes from 3 buttons, and people don’t like that. They are noob killers, and nothing more.

DK, Any caster besides maybe Ele, and Shadow priest. This is assuming they know how to rotate roots, stuns, mobility, and defensives. If they don’t know how to do those things, then Ret will destroy all of them with ease. Like I said, noob killer.

You forget anti magic zone matches Wings cd, and worst come to worst they can deathstrike big hits easily.
