When you are calling for nerfs on your own spec when it sits at the bottom of the M+ logs, there is something wrong with these comments.
The op started with this in their post;

I just don’t see the point in bullying at all. On a forum at that. It does not bring constructive discussion. It does not bring in new ideas. It just brings negative emotions and makes it harder for people that do want to bring feed-back from doing so due to pressure from others who lack self-esteem.
Forums is meant to discuss, nothing more or less.
Here is the thing, those 2 did not. The only time they even came close to that was after they where given the facts of dawnlight damage after quiestioning it themselves. Mob mentality did not like it it seems.

Well it happened to hit ret paly really hard in M+ where we are now bottom as per logs.
You are simply spending a lot of time on bashing the spec.
Understanding/explaining why they do thing does not equate us to agreeing to it.
They wanted Herald and Templar to be closer, if we look through logs there’s relatively a low amount of data for Templar and it shows its consistently lower than Herald.
Would have I preferred they buff Templar instead? Sure .
Or nerf Herald and buff the base kit for something similar.
But they didn’t, it is what it is but this doesn’t kill Ret, that’s exaggerating.
We have no control over the tuning and neither do you, regardless of the amount of times you say we’re under-tuned.
Because they don’t need any of us to know that, they have better in-house metric than we do.
Case and point.
Tell us, how much damage did dawnlight did before the nerf? Did you read their posts before they got that information? This is intentional targeting and harrassment.
They did not call out for nerfs, at most they said it was warranted due to heing over tuned. Honestly the goal for blizz is to make templar/herald equal on damage output.
Also why are we even caring so much about the herald nerf when we will get re-tuned later during 11.0.5? We should be focusing on that, not your attacking on 2 people who has 0 control over tuning.

second, a 15% nerf to herald is 2% overal. this is nothing. also herald being 100uptime is also a issue so i rather have it do 0 damage then have all of our damage be the herald dot
third, the main issue is that FV got nerfed close to the end of beta. that is the main reason why were in this mess right now. if they revert the FV nerf and buff it further b y10% then alot of issues would be solved

First, if the nerf to Herald was warranted to bring it in line with Templar, they would also buff some other spell to make it even, which they did not.
So please stop saying this was not a nerf.
There was no reason for this nerf as defended by these 2 individuals as Ret paly went from mid to bottom of the logs in M+.

Ah yes, me wanting ret to have hap closures, passive AoE healing, being a true melee with said gap closure, wanting buffs to underrated talents, NOT WANTING 6 TALENTS TO STEED, and us having updated actually useful pvp talents. Instead of whining about a 2% nerf that people had no control over and blaming it on 2 people. Totally want ret nerfs to happen. Yes, ret should totally be a dead spec. /sarcasm

If i recall it did 350k per tick. That was pretty darn high. Also as Arahgon mentioned, the nerf was only a 2% damage lose.
I agree we should not be having that much damage done passively. It should be redirected elsewhere.

At 77 ilvl and 490ilvl, are you even playing this game or are you simply on Blizz payroll to say the spec is not so bad ?

I take my time to play. Don’t mean I don’t pay attention to theorycrafting. Also atm I am waiting for the 11.0.5 class tree changes. Might even test the tree out to plan how i want to spec later.
But ya know. I can’t wait to see how you react over the changes to wings in 11.0.5. It will be priceless. It is for certain our playstyles won’t be the same.

Sure i don’t. I only played WoW for close to 20 years, mostly death knights and paladins. But yeah i totally don’t know how to play. (Even though i know more about the UI then you i bet)
