warcraft logs, parses basically are a ranking system on how good you play your spec compared to other players. but i wouldnt listen to them until later in the season where everyone has simliar ilvl
purple-orange basically means you know how to play your spec almost at the level of mastery, orange pink requires alot of outside sources like external cds, timers, rng trinkets, ect ect

But it says for dps, we’re number 3 out of 26 for DPS!
I don’t know how you can come up with this info reading the logs but Ret paly is totally at the bottom in M+
When you go to Warcrafts Logs, click Help at top right.
It will take you to Archon webpage The Warcraft Logs Companion with the latest updates. Click War Within on top.
Click Role: Dps and then ret paladin.
It gives you the latest updates. The latest updates is 13 hours or so.

On parse it shows 5th and DPS it’s 3rd, mythic score its in the bottom half but not that low which really doesn’t mean anything since my+ started this week.
On tier list it’s in B with a BUNCH of other specs…
