While completely ignoring the fact that the spec can hit multiple 150k+ globals with an upwards max of 250k in arena. Nobody cares about this recent buff to rets, they have a problem with rets damage that it has had since beta.
I guess +300% damage per nerf windlord was fine too because we used cooldowns to do it.

They literally turned it into ele shaman with higher on demand burst so I wouldn’t mind.
Yeah precisely, there are so many high damage abilities in the game now, thats where its at and healing is high to compensate. Why it is that way is a question for the devs maybe everything should be toned down but you can’t just cry nerfs when there are MANY abilities in the game that hit that hard. But you’re crying about a class that once their burst window is used up is basically a useless body until they have cd’s again.

Yeah I don’t know how they get that high even with the 2 piece. I have yet to break 200k with everything + sophic mine are maxing out at 175kish.

I have a hard time trusting that SS. I’ve never seen a radiant decree hit that hard while playing ret or against a ret. That’s not even the ability they buffed either.

It’s not rocket science bud. Even with every modifier possible i’ve not hit for 250k. Like Jlee said 170ish is on the high end.

I’m not trying to justify a 250k radiant decree lol. Obviously that’s no bueno, but where i’ve seen it landing around 160-170 on the HIGH end is acceptable when you have other abilities in the game hitting for the same. Ret doesn’t have much else to offer besides their burst damage. By all means, rework them entirely but if you try to nerf their damage they will just be dog water.

If your having issues with ret paladins its more than likely a skill issue.
