If you care about numbers on the damage meter for PVE Raiding, then Ret probably isn’t a reasonable choice. I’d be quite surprised that someone got to level 60 in WoW Classic in 2024 and then had that epiphany.

This. Because I would have never picked you for my groups. Ret is a such a waste of space. How about instead of asking for buffs, we simply ask to delete the characters of all you ret players?

pallies are useless? useless you say? my man their the best dungeon tanks and hands down he best tank healers and straight overpowered in pvp both with ret and holy. pallies arent useless its just that wow players dont value support classes at all in any capacity. hell the poster above you wants to delete players who play ret

It makes way too much sense that you’re a ret paladin main.
The pieces fit so perfectly together that if there were a venn diagram between playing ret paladin in wow classic and having a gigantic dent in your head, all you would see is a singular circle with your name in the middle of it.

It’s funny to remember that classes were buffed regularly back in original vanilla, and to see the effects of those buffs today. Paladins were changed constantly and were basically always bad in vanilla. Pretty sure warstomp was buffed in vanilla. Ice barrier buff / mage buff patch in general was probably the worst balance changes they made.
those classic paladins need to play the way it was in vanilla when bubble had -50% damage during bubble.
but now because they are playing after the revamps, rets can just HOS you in bg and kill you during it.

It’s usually the retnoobs, and trust me when I say the overwhelming majority of the alliance would appreciate if they all disappeared.

classic re-release 2019 & the re-re-release classic 2025 people are living in paradise with game being released the last patch note and all the revamps.
they have no idea how it feels like when paladins didn’t have Greater Blessings and the smaller buff was just 2min LOL so paladin during encounter had to re-buff every 2min.
Ret Paladin is why i refuse to ever play alliance.
At least on horde Shamans know their place. Drop totems and hit chain heal.
