Varian is one of the few WoW characters who got out at his absolute peak and has thus far avoided being destroyed by terrible writing.
I love him but honestly the absolute best case scenario is that we never see him again. Bringing him back just risks ruining him. Nobody liked seeing Arthas in Sepulcher.

I always felt Arthas was overrated. Like, yeah, he was pretty good, and one of Warcrafts best storylines, but imo he wasn’t as amazing as most seem to think. But even I was shocked that nkt only did they not even have the decency to use his model despite having an updated model from BFA, but also essentially had him show up purely so that Sylvanas could have closure and tell him to go away. Like, damn, that’s some harsh disrespect…
Playing MoP remix just reminded me of how awful of a character he was. Please don’t bring him back. Kill off his son too.
