No matter what changes they make they won’t take away premading. If you don’t like grouping with pugs you can keep making premades, nobody will take that away from you. Just expect to match into another premade which is fair

Honored warrior (revered tonight. I am exclusively leading pug premade discord teams and teaching players how to be as impactful as they can in games. Most are very receptive to teaching)
Though leading trade chat mades at times can be frustrating for someone like me, I do enjoy teaching newer players with lower experience, they find out strategies and techniques they never knew before, and the battleground becomes something entirely different to them now

That would be catering to cheaters, botters, quitters, and forcing people who absolutely don’t want to to play with them. If they do something like that, it’s a very clear sign that they are catering to the type of community that I personally would not want to be a part of.

What are you so upset about? You aren’t showing anything higher than Rival in a season in retail. You aren’t playing at a level where skill matters and you never have.

No, I won’t. If I cannot exclude 100% of cheaters from my teams, I will not be fine. I will not be fine if Blizzard devs cater to cheaters over active community members who participate and play BGs according to the BG objectives.
That would trigger my disgust response, and would be a very clear indication that the community being cultivated is not a welcoming community to someone like me, who doesn’t cheat, bot, lose on purpose, berate teammates for following BG objectives, or try to get carried by others for better gear.
If the devs choose to completely ignore non-participation in favor of catering to non-participants, it will send a very clear message.

Sure I’ll be “fine”, they could restrict me to 5 man groups and I’ll still camp pugs on the gy and win in 7 minutes and beat 2 5 mans etx.
The point is I don’t want to play with players who have no standards. AT LEAST when I’m feeling the tism flow through my veins and want some extremely sweaty sessions

That is literally what this thread is asking for. FWIW, I don’t care if they make it pug only, solo queue only, premade only, or anything, but only that they either heavily regulate non-participants out of my team, or allow me to do so. The current system allows me to do so.
I do not want less agency if there is not at least some equal effort to prevent my being matched with non-participants, quitters, throwers, botters, AFKers.

I don’t care about pvp in WoW because WoW pvp is a joke due to it’s vertical progression nature wherein gear is vastly more important than skill until you reach the maximum gearing threshold. My apathy toward pvp in WoW is evidenced by my low HK’S. Duh.

My point is you’ve made it to 1800ish once in your entire time playing WoW, so you absolutely fall into the category of gear mattering in pvp and you are upset at the idea of people gearing up and leveling the playing field with you because without a gear advantage you’ll have to rely on skill and your record shows you aren’t playing a level where skill matters, only gear.

Is this a legitimate comment? This entire topic is “drama much.” People who are quitting, throwing, cheating at BGs are asking to not ever be matched against premades.
At this point, it’s more like if they make any changes, it had better be to curb non-participation, but if they cater to it, then that’s a community cultivation problem.
I do not believe the narrative that people are genuinely queueing BGs to have fun as PuGs and are getting ROFLStomped by premade after premade. I also queue solo, and the only issues in my own anecdotal experience have been due to non-participants, which I personally hope they remove from the game.

Expect player afking to drop after more fair matchmaking is implemented. I really don’t blame a player for afking in a match if the entire team can’t get a single kill in the first mid clash. You have no hope in a pug vs a fully raid geared world buffed consumable using premade
