Premades are pug stomping not because they enjoy an extreme advantage in a pvp situation.
They broke the AV premade situation in classic, there’s not much a reason they don’t break it in SoD. No one cares if you want tO PlAy wITh yEr fRINz (which isn’t what’s happening, it’s people spamming looking for group channels and stacking the hell out of groups with very specific comps and gearing requirements to beat the hell out of pugs.)
That’s fine there are a lot of people who just want rewards in BG’s I never claimed otherwise. But then that goes both ways the reason so many people premade is so they can pug stomp because they want those same rewards.
Ah. So you’re an excuse based determinist. Got it. I’m sure you also apply this line of thinking to why you or anyone probably hasn’t climbed the financial ladder towards increasing success in that direction.
Seeing as how you’re completely avoiding mmr and how it pertains to gear, I can say you’re not equipped to continue this discussion in any capacity.
The exact same can be said about players who are choosing to pug. They are only joining up because they hit revered, they want the rep to exalted and that they have no other motivation than participating in wsg beyond that. Which is evidenced by legions of pugs who throw and quit after the first loss in mid or the first enemy cap.
I play with the same squad I have been for years and we have years of synergy. I love the rank because I like fighting other good premades. When I come across really good ones, we talk with them and invite them to the wargames discord (where teams play other teams on purpose for the competition)
You are just making claims and attributing the claim to prove another claim
People want to premade first and foremost because they want to be in a structured environment. Everything else flows beneath that
Here’s a question (you ignored my previous question, perhaps you missed it), under the current system, how can people who enjoy participating in BGs with other people who are participating in BGs, exclude people who are not participating from their team? And why are you asking to prevent them from being able to?
I’m as equipped as anyone else to continue the discussion, your wish brand internet mind evaluations not withstanding.
Right, because in that structured environment, they gain an extreme advantage over those playing without it. We get it. You guys don’t like actual pvp. That’s why you’re here instead of actual pvp games where skill matters. In a game like WoW with vertical progression gear and actually being able to outgear people (not to mention racial and faction differences) making the claim that you’re good at WoW pvp is just kind of…idk. Dumb.
It is exactly the same and achieves the same goal which provides a form of content that is Regular BGs. I’ve explained this in great detail for you to understand. Maybe you should read it again. Not sure why are talking about gear acquisition but that is irrelevent. We are talking about the different forms of content. Good day and goodbye.
This would be like if I said: hey, I only get 60% parses, so can we remove all strategies that people who practice use to get 99% parses? Because then it won’t make me feel bad for not trying and then losing to other people.
You people just hate pvp.
You are honestly arguing that having a completely random 10 people is superior to making sure your team has 2-3 healers, a balance of other utility.
Nobody who plays warrior would prefer to queue solo and risk getting zero healers then die over and over. The basic drive to succeed makes a person do bare minimum socialization. It’s not like you’re marrying pugs… it’s like /inviting randoms to do a quest together.
This is how PVP communities form on a server. We pug together with strangers and get to know personalities from the ground up. WSG has been great for that so far. You people want it all gone. It’s such a shortsighted and selfish perspective.
It’s not a better team beating a worse team. It’s a premade beating pugs.
That’s the point. Further, given how negative an impact it has on the experience of other players and Blizzard has set precedent here before and broken premades in classic, it stands to reason that it could and should happen here.
