Restrict battleground queue group size to 5 man

I would very much like a mmr as long as it’s hidden

The claim I made was that if it becomes harder for premades to pug stomp we’ll be able to see that.

You see to be claiming that there will be zero impact on how many people run premades and that is pure silliness. There’s tons of people who are premading currently purely to pug stomp. You personally might not be but you seem to not understand others are.

We won’t be getting that, then.

Some lremades will be affected, yes. These are typically going to be the ones who have zero prior synergy together and are basically just pugs in discord.

Not provable. I’m in trade chat premade discords, these teams are building their comps to make sure they aren’t auto farmed by premades. Pug stomping is just an unavoidable thing that happens. There are so many lremades yu must build a team in mind to approach this.

Except they are based on official numbers from Blizzard.

4,537,307 characters were created in week 1. That is exact official numbers from Blizzard.

In week one there were 3,872,758 HK’s in Ashenvale and not everyone was in the event, doing the event or max level.

Yes SOD had over 1 million players and how many played it over the course of phase 1 is speculation because I don’t have any more official Data stretching out. However it’s in the millions.

Were these 10 toons created in week 1? There were 4.5 million characters created in week 1. I personally only had 1 character in week one as I was busy leveling a main. Sure some people created a lot some didn’t. That’s why there are averages which still places the number of Unique players over 1 million.

Since servers insta lock and people want to save specific names and have bank alts ready, yes.

I know I had ALL my toons created day 1

Had my cloth bank, herb bank, engi bank, pvp bank, pots bank, etc

and bots, lots of bots

And we’ll see how that changes when those premades can no longer pug stomp.

All depends entirely on how they implement it

So you are the exception. Ok then. Doesn’t change anything that I stated.

Oh yea definitely bots. Still easily over 1 million players have played SOD and were concurrent at launch. If they gave us Solo Que it would bring back many players that quit and 100,000s of new players.

Solo Que BGs would be the best PvP feature ever added into an MMO of all time. Just give the players what they been waiting over a decade for already.

Sure we’ll see, they could just reinstate the hard 5 group limit and we won’t be able to tell anything.

But if they do something like matching equivalent premade group sizes which is what a lot of games go we’ll see real quick how many people actually want to fight other pre mades.

Baseless claim that needs proven and backing first of all. I’m not sold on people playing this for solo q specifically. I just don’t believe people care that much

I’ve got seven other characters besides the only one I do play, on living flame. Made them all based on what name I could get and decided to roll with. Name fishing is huge.

That said. Let’s be real. Some of the smallest single unit run bot farms are running upwards of 500 individual accounts, spread out over a couple dozen machines. Every 3-5 days, they’re banned and they spin up the same amount.

Concurrent players doesn’t mean anything you think it does when a very generous 30% of actual living breathing players accounts for the actual player base among our chinese & eastern european brethren laughing all the way to the bank.

Sod would be a ghost town without bots, not so much what you see in the world, which is already somewhat of a ghost town but by a telling of numbers.

If they go with this option, eventually pugs WILL end up going against prems yet way less often. Which is what I personally think they will do

I’d have a reason to play and not just raidlog

95% of my playtime on retail from cata to shadowlands was doing random bgs solo

Yea I would Solo Que all day every day.

It’s still the most requested PvP feature in Retail. It’s been the most requested BG feature over the last 10 years. Players just want to enjoy organic regular BGs and Solo Que provides that. It’s just the best, real most fair PvP.

Yes at which point it will be interesting to see how many people keep premading when they’re consistently facing other premades.

Only 1 way to find out, rigut?

If I were to guess, a premade spam losing fast will still keep playing. I’m not totally sold they will break up in mass to solo q with players who have no idea what’s going on, off doing their own thing, afking, spam dying in mid etx. A pug game can go 30-40m with zero progress. Where as losing 3 times vs a pre in this time gets them 3 marks vs 0 in that pug game

Just gotta see

Solo q has only been requested because the have-nots (honor gear) have cried, and cried, and cried, and cried, and cried, and cried about having limited access to conquest.

There’s no other reason. Every expansion blizz concedes just a little bit more. They lower the rating reqs to conq gear pieces until there’s no value. We’ve reached the max entitled tipping point in retail.

If it was all about enjoying bg’s and pvp, the people who have cried for solo q shouldn’t have anything to cry about. But we both know it’s not and never been about that. It’s always been that they were segmented off from better gear because they’re piss-poor players and/or socially indept.

No other reason you or anyone can conjure up.

Sure there is. Premades are a completely different form of content than Regular BGs. It’s literally the main reason why we want Solo Que so we can enjoy the content of Regular BGs. Where there aren’t designated Class roles, gear requirements or discord. We are looking for organic PvP which is really fun.

There is a time and place for competitve vs casual gameplay. If you are an NBA player that doesn’t mean you don’t want to go to your local YMCA and play a pickup game with regular people. That is part of having fun and practicing something you love without the ultra competitve aspect of Team play like an official league game.

Regular BGs are those pickup games and organic PvP we are looking for as players which are ruined when Competitve teams with designated roles show up destroying that type of content.

All we want is a place where we can enjoy Regular BGs. It’s really not asking for much and that type of content shouldn’t be eliminated from the game when it’s clearly the most popular.

Got it now…Good.
