During the quest Restoring the Faith, I jumped into Wrathion and he started flying up, and then dropped me to my death. My hands weren’t even on the keyboard or mouse, so no idea how he dropped me.

same, Wrathion just dropped me and killed me. I couldn’t even rez when I reached my corpse location, so I logged out and back in to get rezzed.

Still and issue. It’s happened twice to me on Perenolde

Came here to say the same thing - he just dropped me, killed me, and forced me to fly up there myself.
Ditto. Was watching him fly me to the throne, and he was like “Buh-bye!” and dropped me to my death.
Yep. I thought I accidentally hit a button and dismounted, but I wasn’t touching the keyboard or mouse the second time. Wrathion is a jerk.

restoring the faith lol as he drops us to our death… this is still happening
he didnt drop me to my death but he isnt at the thrown after dropping me off so I cant complete
so im stuck and cant complete the quest
I think Wrathions behavior is bizarre cos he drops us to our death after we just helped him fix his oath stone and reclaim the obsidian citadel. Then later, he wants us to side with him when technically we no longer exist.
All of my toons that have done this part of the quest has been dropped and died, hopefully Blizz can get this fixed

Just got here to report the same. Just happened the first time on my shaman.
Almost a month after this thread was started I just got dropped on my paladin alt. Glad I make sure all my alts have a glider before doing this janked up quest.
Didn’t happen on my first toon through, but just happened on my 2nd.
Same thing just happened, Jan 10th 2023 moroons still havn’t fixed FA !

Apparently still happening randomly. Keep goblin gliders at the ready!
Some characters get dropped and some don’t.
Maybe it was to sway some towards Sabellian?!?!
I know dropping me is a definite Team Sab for that character!
Still an issue. Just got dropped to my death, much to my surprise. xD
Might not help anyone. I was killed as well. When I flew up on my own, I could not see Wrathion. When I went back down and took the Ferry ride up, I could see him and complete the quest.
It’s August 25th 2023 and Wrathion is still dropping characters to their death. He did it to my warrior alt yesterday. Thankfully, I was able to save myself with Heroic Leap. How is this still going on, Blizz? This is has been a problem since day one of Dragonflight and it’s still happening.
