As I see it Blizzard has an opportunity here to once again be a leader, and show to the greater community of gamers what is good and right. They can sculpt the narrative in a positive direction, but only if they can muster the courage to stand against digital thugs, e-bullying, and if they elect to stand the side of honesty and justice. If this man has been falsely accused, then let him be acquitted fully and completely with the only scorn falling on those who defend the indefensible.
If Blizzard does so, I suspect that they will find that far more respect them than those few like the person I quoted who would instead seek to reward people who engage in slander and lies.
Let us see if Blizzard is willing to be a leader as they were once upon a time, and again stand strong against those who would stand against what is right and good. There is an old saying. Choosing between two forms of evil, is still choosing evil.
If the original Voice-Actor for Kael’thas is indeed innocent, let his work remain and let the one who falsely accused him pay for that slander. If he is guilty, and I do not mean by a vocal minority that blindly disregards what the facts say; then let his work be removed. But above all else, Let true justice prevail.
I hope Blizzard makes the correct decision after weighing all the facts, and not the allegations of a vocal minority that would ignore those facts, simply to be right at all costs; even if it came at the cost of an innocent man or woman being found guilty.
