People in his position are held to a higher standard. I have heard of stuff that goes on at those things. Like that guy who worked for blizz who hurt those women. Then sent weird texts about the bleeding to her. That kind of things does happen. But it should not ever happen.
Voice actors get wild requests all the time at those things, it was considered part of the job up until like a year and a half ago to fulfill those odd requests.

LOL, I didnât say it was okay! A lot of people have things in their job that I dont think are okay. I am just saying that it wasnât odd at all. It was literally just part of the culture. She asked him to do an odd thing (supposedly) and he did it. That is what voice actors were supposed to do until very recently. Are we going to fault him for his job?
if this is the type of thing that con creators sanction then he should probably sue them, as at this point his character is called into question for stuff like this and he is in legal trouble for it/other things related to him apparently being told he should do this stuff. and so should anyone else who has been told to do things of that nature. because licking is not something you just do to random people and if he was expected to just do itâŚ

Well, again, we are assuming this was requested which happens all the time at anime cons. LIKE ALL THE TIME. If you want him canceled, you should want every voice actor canceled because they have ALL done stuff like this for fans. Like you should go to one of these things just to experience the culture shock. But I donât think you should cancel any of them, because it would be holding them to a standard that simply didnt even exist until the vic accusations came out and new restrictions were put in place.
i just said he should do something about it as itâs now really screwing him personally. i am not holding him responsible for that in this case if itâs industry wide. but people that run conventions should definitely be held accountable.

Iâm not sure people would go to them if it actually had any rules. People freak out when you try to implement rules to force people to cover their stomach at these things. You should see some of the things people wear, really creepy, and its not like these things are 18+ exclusive. Honestly, it doesnât get much more degenerate than an anime con.
iâve never been into anime. i donât know anything about it really or what would go on at one of the conventions for it. if itâs that creepy and there are minors involved⌠and you are actively calling it degenerate. it seems like itâs only a matter of time until it blows up and something really bad happens and people end up facing real consequences for that stuff.
You know, I honestly never thought about it before. I guess you are right, though. I went to those things when I was younger and it all just seemed normal at the time. Like, thatâs just how it was.
As a con-goer since 2006, I can confirm this is true. I want to know why people are cancelling voice actors for doing innocent things like that and not bigger celebrities whoâve been signing autographs on boobies since the dawn of time. People just need to calm down.

i always get suggestions for weird anime match 3 games on steam. despite never purchasing one or any game that would cause it to show up. the young girls that are on the initial page + the fact theyâre listed as mature/with nudity. the whole thing doesnât seem appealing to me in general. i am not judging all anime on that just the things i am forced to constantly click ignore on because theyâre creepy. i wish i knew how to block that stuff entirely. even the nintendo store has games like that for some reason. (for switch)
there are musicians who have done worse since the 70s and 80s. jimmy page and david bowie being prime examples. that stuff wasnât âokayâ either.
Yeahhhh, thats a different issue. There is some racy anime stuff that is with adult characters with adult bodies. Unfortunately, the opposite is real popular too, and I find it incredibly creepy. Iâm not sure how to stop it.
Probably wonât happen because thereâs going to be people who wonât accept the verdict.
Out of curiosity, was any reason actually given for the change or are people deciding for themselves? The two incidents may not be related.

match 3 seems to be the issue as far as my searches go. i didnât realize trying to find a free substitute for bejeweled wouldâve been such an issue. the last game i purchased for my switch was âterraria.â for steam? some random free game called âsoda dungeon.â
i am not buying bejeweled AGAIN when i have for my phone already. 
When was the last time they went back and rerecorded voice lines for a character in WoW?
I havenât heard of it ever happening personally, or at the very least I cant remember.
You might be able to block tags on steam, Iâm not sure though. You know, I really enjoyed talking about this issue with you. I look forward to talking again once I come back from whenever my next suspension ends, which will likely start soon.
