While being described as an expansion where “Players will help reunify the elven tribes of Azeroth,” here is my Christmas Wishlist for Midnight
Night Elves teach Blood Elves how to be Druids, in addition to teaching the Nightborne
Night Elves help Blood Elves heal the Dead Scar in Quel’thalas, reviving the tree roots of Thas’alah (now known as Deatholme) and connecting its lifesource to Silvermoon & The Sunwell (Life vs Death)
Blood Elves help Night Elves finally cleanse Felwood (Fel vs Light)
Blood Elves teach Night Elves & Void Elves how to be Paladins with emphasis on utilizing Light as just another Magic/Cosmic force like the Blood Elves did in TBC, as opposed to being Faith-Based like Human utilizaiton
Nightborne and Blood Elves cooperate with Night Elf Highborne Mages that returned during Cataclysm to bring magic back into Night Elven Society on a larger scale
With Blizzard announcing that they want to remove most Class/Race restrictions in the future, I feel like Midnight would be a great launching pad from a lore standpoint to ease Class Restrictions within the Elven Races.
I’d want void skins for paladin, but my Christmas list is a mega cosmetic patch for classes where Blizzard dumps a ton of unused, removed, or npc only spell effects as glyphs. Single element shaman pleasse
They’re not going to add yet another Thalassian Elf model to the game just so Paladins “make sense”. They already gave VE’s the HE customizations, that’s what you’re going to have to live with.
No real void elf fan wants anything to do with high elf customizations, nor want light themes on a race that is supposed to represent being void currupted.
They don’t have to add another elf race model race bruh. cross faction guilds, and races that is friendly to body toggles can fulfill that requirement.
Apart from that, we already have enough race-class combinations that make zero sense, and we definitely don’t need another copy & paste race just to preserve someone’s cherished “immersion”… as if it had any integrity left after BFA and Shadowlands.
The point is Night Elves are already helping Horde characters, so I’m not really sure why you think Night Elves won’t be helping Horde characters for a long time
Two characters getting along is a bit of a leap from Night Elves as a whole sharing their culture with the faction that burned their homes and families down but hey— I’m not here to argue today. Deuces!
