Yeah they should be more rewarding and rsham shouldn’t be the lone healer required to cast. I feel like I almost never see Hpal cast and Disc only does for occasional pennance and ulti pent.

Maybe if I was better I’d give it a go, but since we stack mastery so much it makes us have 1.45s globals so it’s hard to find the value with it really.
I’m sure Kaska or someone could make it work, but I prefer not running it.
Rsham is good. Hpal is better in nearly every way.
It suffers from the now typical MMO formula. If it isn’t the best, it’s trash.
Rshams largest problem is the massive button bloat. It takes 3-5 globals to get the big burst heal out, and as others have pointed out, the globals are brutal without haste gear which is awful to use.
Idk, I think Boltinqt is going to prove the 90% consensus wrong on this one, honestly. Lava Surge , riptide, unleash, ns, healing surge for 3mil - that’s insane throughput.
Well a consensus is a general agreement, not a fact. And 90% of the Resto playerbase is probably wrong. Bolt is also skilled in the top 10%. It adds up.
I’d suggest mastering the simple stuff first, like always maintaining a healing stream down, utilizing double earthen, and keeping RT on cd. Oh ES too, reactive warding is ridiculous.
The build above is modified from Kaska’s, but the general idea is the same. We run short ascend because its insanely powerful and having it be 2 min brings a lot of value in to most match ups.
Grounding → Static → HTT for honor talents, I swap around grounding for unleash vs melee cleaves.
Static field can be kinda broken on certain maps like Dal sewers, if you have a melee on you and bring them to the ledge with your static field on the tier below, when they walk away they get yoinked down to the bottom platform.
Totemic Projection is insane and I see very few shamans utilize it properly.
You are wrong, totemic is better then farseer, way more healing output, only down side is that we are more likely to die in a stun but nobody target us anyway, oh and mana is kinda a problem if u press surging totem too much. And its better even vs double caster or double melee and you should trust me ive played over 400game this season between 2200-2500 mmr ive test it all.
Alright thanks. I see is the standard farseer build. I’ll finish gearing then hopefully my healing numbers go up. Meter wise my healing is good, only find it problematic trying to top up 2 people at once when spread out.
Yeah stayed up late trying to figure out how to make it work. Shot up to 1800mmr on half baked gear and got schooled. Found some people playing totemic and decide to try it but didn’t get to since I didnt want leas than 4 hrs sleep for work. Will try spam queueing tonight and see how it goes.
Yeah it need a lot of work i cant even speak on it. All i can tell you is that your kick is off gcd and totemic projection is off gcd too lot of people dont realise it. If you are not using keybind to target ur party you are missing out to, aslo have party 1 and party 2 dispel macro its a must
I found abysmal the output difference between MW and rsham. Both started shuffle in greens but finding it harder on rsham. Yeah I’m guilty of not having keys for party targeting. I need an easy access button for that but with the amount of key bloat I finding hard to. Probably to scared to relearn keybinds when the muscle memory for certain buttons is already built in and has for years.
