Request to Merge AUS and US RDF Queues for Level 79 and Below for Better Queue Times

Hello Blizzard team and fellow players,

I’d like to discuss an issue many of us have been experiencing on the Australian servers since the release of RDF. While RDF is an excellent addition to the game, there’s a clear discrepancy in queue times, particularly for lower-level players, and this seems to be rooted in the size of the active player base.

On AUS servers, due to a smaller player base especially in the leveling brackets, queue times can stretch from 30 minutes to 2 hours, regardless of the role. In contrast, a friend of mine playing on a US server, where the player base is considerably larger, reports average queue times of around 5 minutes.

To address this, I propose allowing players level 79 and below from the AUS servers the option to queue with US players in RDF. I believe this would significantly reduce our queue times and offer a more enjoyable leveling experience. While this might introduce increased latency for Australian players, many of us, including myself, are willing to play with a slightly higher ping for a more efficient and enjoyable leveling process.

Thanks Team.

They should make RDF default all players to US servers in US peak times and Oceanic Servers in Oceanic peak times. All in the same pool of players.

Most players then end up with good latency most of the time. Sucks for people doing night shift but whatevs, at least they can get groups.

I’ve been getting 10-15 minute queues as a solo DPS on Argual from midday till late night. Nothing wrong here.

as an OCE player, i disagree and think you should start tanking/healing instead.
