Autism and Down Syndrome are very serious. My niece has Autism, and she gets very hurt when someone calls her the “r” word. The only reason people say that word is to insult someone.
I’m not looking to ban anyone for using the word. People will say whatever they’re going to say. However, I should not have to see that on my screen. So please add that word to the Language Filter.

I am sorry you have family that is offended and upset by players using words you do not care for.
I don’t think removing the word is going to change peoples behavior, they’ll use other vocabulary instead.
I think education is the best tool for this. Your niece needs to learn that people are not always nice, but they are also not always mean, and are simply not thinking when expressing themselves.
You can’t filter out stupid my friend, so I think talking to your niece would yield better results.

best thing you can do is maybe find an add on that filters it out, there’s an add on for everything so your bound to find one if you look hard enough
Maybe there is an add-on out there that could help? Sure you can’t change people, but it is fair to filter out words you don’t want to see, and it being a filter on off option it doesn’t effect others. Personally I turn off filter because even I use bad language from time to time, But I do think this is a reasonable request.
I know this is a joke thread but in the case that it’s not, there’s an addon called BadBoy, it’s a chat filter. you can type in whatever words you want and it’ll remove all messages from chat that have those words.
It offends me that people are so easily offended.

These are actual words that are not offensive words, they have an actually meaning to them, someone using them in a negative connotation makes them a problem.
Hiding horrible words only helps hide horrible people. I say let the horrible people reveal themselves so that I know who to ignore as soon as possible.
