Too late, #somechanges because #nochanges was a failure.
I’m all for certain changes… Don’t get me wrong. I’m not in the #nochanges camp. However, I am against features from retail wow making their way to TBC for sake of convenience.
LFG tool is not automation. It just takes the spam out of chat. I’m very okay with it.
It’s not about convenience, people will still use the tool, people used the tool in TBC all the time, depending on when they came into the game (a lot of vanilla people kept spamming chat, while the TBC noobies used the tool). It’s about a more modern UI.
You can still list yourself and pick up people in the old tool. The new tool just allows you to list your group and people apply instead of listing yourself and having groups pick you up.
Some addon guy is just going to do it anyway, just like the LFG tool (that still works wonderfully btw) in classic. Better blizzard does it this time though.
No I don’t think you do understand, at all.
Request: Ignore this guy
Yes, we definitely should do this. Also make sure wow kills any outside communication systems (e.g. discord) so that they have to use a primitive communication system designed in 2004.

Ya it was kinda cool having to mage portal a group at the dungeon portal, or literally have to go find the dungeon and meet up instead of just being zapped right on in there. It might have taken quite a bit longer to get everyone together and going, but, people didn’t just abandon the dungeon or raid like they do now because it wasn’t so easy to get in. You also had to kinda prove your worth as a team player in order to get invited back, so you couldn’t be a douchebag, or ninja loot, then port out, because you would make trade chat news if you did that and good luck finding people to trust you again, lol. It was definitely a unique experience and I think it caused SOME people to be a little more polite. Back in the day we didn’t have combined servers so our server was our family.
It was in the original Burning Crusade. You’re either ignorant or purposefully lying. Probably both.
You could open up the panel. List the dungeons you want to try and find a group for or look at who wants to find a group. All people on your server. No automation. No teleporting.
It’s functionality will not change at all from that and will simply get a better UI so it’s friendlier to use.
People will still form and choose their own groups. No cross realm stuff. No teleporting.
You are simply getting mad at a video game while atop a tiny high horse. You are a small and insignificant person with no credible or valuable thoughts.

Elvui.
Elvui and advanced add-ons were not around. You could run a 16 hour weekend workshop on weakauras alone.
Do you think only archived add-ons from the time period should be allowed to be used? Because it isn’t fair to original TBC players that we have it so much easier and so much more convenient this time around?
You’re arguing against UI updates and that’s it. And you’ve already lost that battle by allowing modern add-ons into classic.
Unless you post a receipt of you protesting modern add-ons or receipts that you’ve been protesting graphical updates in classic you cannot argue against a UI update.
You were straight up lying a few posts ago. Then you got called out for it and are now back tracking.
Yes. It is purely your own opinion and has no evidence or logic backing it up. Thanks for admitting that now.
Flat Earther’s opinions are not swayed either. That does not make their argument valid in anyway. You still need sound logic and evidence.
I already pointed out how stupid that argument is because we already have very advanced add-ons, logging/simming, discord, even the updated graphics. These are all interface changes that are drastically more impactful than changing the skin of a basic interface panel.
So you’re just kneejerk reacting based on identity politics of you being the “elite classic true experience player” vs “retail babies who just want to ruin the game”. Got it.
nah
most of us want it
