Thank you for your reply. I respect your thoughts on the issue. Apologies if some of my words seemed directed at you, as they were meant to be directed at the system as a whole.
Go to classic era if you want that BS. Otherwise, cope that you cant either swipe your way to the best gear, or take advantage of someone who did, while shutting out all other forms of content.
You canât just âmake your own groupâ when EVERYONE is only doing GDKPs.
No, removing GDKPs was one of they best forms to fight illicit gold, all we need now is toe make mage have teleports only and lock summons zone only and it would be cured
You are being intentionally disingenuous. You know that we know that you know that it isnât the raids, its the fact that if people can make gold from doing nothing but taking advantage of whales while doing the content, they are going to do that instead of doing the content. Essentially, GDKP andies are whining that they donât get paid with every single raid they do.
Not every single group activity needs to be a gold transaction, especially when it involves RMT, which no one can deny happens in GDKPs IN GENERAL, because those same people always complain whenever farming comes up.
Either:
The raid leader does it.
The core carriers do it.
the whales that are taking up spots do it.
Ot some combination of the three with the core and raid leader always profiting no matter what (unless the raid leader pockets ALL the money, or like on hardcore, HILARIOUSLY gets KILLED with all the gold and the loot so the swipe enjoyers got absolutely nothing from the run)
You arent farming gold to do these runs. Youâre taking advantage of people doing RMT, or are doing RMT yourself and wonât admit it for obvious reasons.
I will never understand how Blizzard can literally show you people the numbers of accounts they have banned for this, and yall still hold this idiotic stance.
Well, one has a decent percent chance off of a repeatable instanced boss and is BoP because itâs not meant to be sellable.
And the other has almost no chance of dropping off of anything, but is BoEâŚbecause itâs meant to be sellable.
Pretty obvious to me, figured that would be obvious to use.
Also the first one is better than the second one, by a lot, for everyone except a mutilate rogue.
now call me old fashion but isnt the point of âcamaraderieâ is to run the raids with your friends or guildies to help others out? am i just crazy or am i the only one who just enjoys tanking pve content to help out strangers. i find myself spamming SM gy/lib/arm/cath on my fully gnomer geared prot warrior just to help ppl out with leveling? isnt that the point of the game is to just play the game just for the fun? if you really need an incentive to play WoW then maybe you should re think your hobbies because i know i play wow just for the fun of and thats all the incentive i need. bottom line what ever happened to just playing the game for fun?
I can see youâre going to diamond hands that extremely flimsy twigâŚbut unless youâre absolutely braindead and just ChatGPT typing in the forums, you know that those are not remotely the same.
Iâm glad GDKP is staying banned, and Iâm not sorry your credit card got nerfed.
I agree with this, GDKP removal just gave rise to an even bigger issue⌠Parsing toxicity. Just as many bots as before, AH prices still extremely high, gold sinks in trinket and recipes are abysmal. At least with GDKP you can get your gear, under purple parse? Good luck getting a full run, good luck getting a group.
The only obvious part about Bind on Pickup gear to me is that players are meant to participate and pick up the gear themselves. I donât think about what is meant or not meant to be sellable, because Iâm not one to tell others how to play the game, but Iâm curious how far your judgment goes on this.
Are mage portals meant to be sellable? Can I hire a mercenary to help me complete a quest that results in a BoP quest reward? Are enchants meant to be sellable since theyâre not yet made BoE through scrolls?
I also donât understand where this drop-rate argument is going. Will you be able to apply this same argument when crafted BoE Epics make it into the game in the later phases?
No one here is claiming that RMT gold doesnât find its way into GDKPs, same way it does in every other area of the game. The problem is that itâs not up to other players to police and no one here should ever place that responsibility on other players. Weâre all just customers.
