Yeah we should do this in the AH as well. Every time someone buys your item with illicit gold boom you get banned cause you now have illicit gold. Also if someone buys something from a vendor with illicit gold and you sell to that vendor boom! You banned as well.

The problems with the whole âthereâs still bots and RMTâ argument are:
(1) Itâs a strawman. The claim isnât that GDKP was the sole driver of bots and RMT, the claim is that GDKP is a contributor.
(2) Youâre ignoring the other reasons people wanted GDKP gone such as being corrosive to regular guild runs.
(3) You have no idea what the bot and RMT situation would have been had GDKP stayed in place. You have nothing to compare to. The situation may have been much worse if GDKP stayed in place.
Itâs akin to a personal trainer telling you to quit eating 2 Big Macs a day because you should try to lose weight, and because eating 2 Big Macs a day is bad for your health.
You quit eating Big Macs but continue living an unhealthy lifestyle for the next 3 months.
So in 3 three months you go back to the personal trainer, and because youâre not shredded, you tell him that clearly eating 2 Big Macs a day has nothing to do with your weight and health.

I dont need to look at anyrhing. Youre unethical behaviour and attitude has been laid out in your posts. Gdkps are banned bc the gdkp community could not say no to illicit activity. That means cheating. Thats you as a gdkper.
I have never done a SOD gdkp, even in phase 1 when they were legal.
How is that cheating?
Literally was no gdkps on my sod server.

If you had read my first post in the thread you would know I havenât done any GDKPâs in SOD, in fact I havenât done any since BC classic.
I never said he was lying intentionally, rather he was mistaken and didnât know what he was talking about.
Amount of bots running around is and always has been a thing. As itâs been stated, it has no quick fix.
If you eliminate one of the biggest offenders for why botters do what they do, it is a big deterrent for them to want to do it if it is far less profitable. You are being obtuse to make it sounds like no GDKP means there is never going to be botting. While that is unfortunately not the truth, it again reduces the necessity that bad actors will need to get more gold. Less people buying gold means the botters have less reasons to do so since itâs not as profitable.
Stop trying to ignore this. Itâs really obvious.

So bizarre. None of the advocates for gdkp have ever done gdkp. In fact, according to the forum gdkp advocates, no one except friends of friends have ever done gdkp and gdkp advocates are just concerned those friends of friends cant run the loot system they want. So weird.

I appreciate what youâre going for here, but given that AH items can be acquired in ways that do not involve gold, and are designed to be sold, used, or given away, and GDKPs are exclusively trafficking in gold while BoP gear isnât designed to be sold, the equivalence just doesnât quite line up.

Oh i have done hundreds of gdkps, just none in SOD.
They werent even on my server, there was no spam for them.

Twisting facts? The facts are simple. Gdkp and rmt are inseparable. Rmt is cheating in sod. The lead dveloper is more i formed than you or anyone else in this forum thread regarding that. Yet, you and others can not accept the facts being laid out by the lead developer.
I play one toon, have never done a gdkp in SOD, i do them in wotlk and trade the gold from wotlk to sod, all perfectly legal.
You repeat the same garbage over and over.
If they want to post about bringing gdkps back let them, who cares?

I am sorry, but given the prevalence of GDKP, itâs impossible to believe that there were no GDKPs on Living Flame at all. Even if you havenât participated in one yourself, there is absolutely no way that it is a factual statement there were none or âvirtuallyâ none (however you want to qualify it).

Sure that doesnt mean they didnt exist but if i never seen them they had to be pretty rare.
I heard other people on other servers had them, mostly a whopping 10g payoutâŚ

Gdkps have ruined the game. I dont want them back. I am going voice my opinion in their threads calling for gdkps to be reinstated. Swiping for gear is bad and ruins the game.
If you dont do it and have no interest if its in the game or not then why are you here?

I play on LF. There was tons of p1 gdkp spam. Gone competely now and its great.
