Which forum do I make a complaint about this? I report players with sexual innuendo in their names, racist names, etc. I never see this being actioned as months later the players are still playing with the same names.
What is the point of reporting these people?
Names cannot be reported via the forums. Right-click and report is the proper way to report them. It may take time, but they definitely do get actioned. We know because people come here all the time complaining about having their inappropriate names changed 
It’s not happening quickly enough is my point. I’m not wasting my sub time reporting all these players. The naming system should be robust enough not to even let these names be made. Thanks for the reply, appreciated it.
Afraid the system is reactive and no proactive when it comes to names! They can not block every possible combination of names. So they depend on players like you and me to report names you find in violation.
Blizzard works on their time table. Not ours.
Another note is that they are reactive to reports. GMs do not sit in game and catch people as it’s happening - that’s just impossible when you consider they would need to be in every zone (Warmode and not), across the great wide world and beyond, in each different iteration of their games. It’s not feasible. And too, there is nothing stopping a player from being stupid and renaming their character the exact same thing, thinking it’s going to fly. Or add an alt character to “scam” the system. It’s a never-ending cycle of players doing this mess, but it does catch up to them. And people do get silenced and suspended (and in some very gross cases, banned) for their foolishness.

There’s no system that robust for something like this. It’s very easy for folks to work around a given system to make such rather moot to have.
Maybe in another 20 years or more AI might be good enough to be able to scan player names and do as you say. But for now it is not in a companies interest to have gm’s scanning names to see who might be in violation. They just depend on who gets reported and react.
Don’t agree. The naming system can be beefed up to stop names from being generated. Also in today’s technology, you are saying that this cannot be done?
I worked in IT with databases and reporting. It can be done.
Anyway, it is what it is. I will continue to report.

Considering how many variations with letters and so on people can use. This would be hard to do right now. They do block a lot of names but not possible to block them all.
Then Submit a suggestion and maybe a application and you can show them how it is done.
Heres the thing they couldve had there named changed and rhe player changed it back sooner keep in mind sooner or later it will catch up to them and the name will be changed permanatly follwed possibly by a suspenion.

They do indeed. I remember someone who came to the forum complaining about a name change. He was using the name of a rather infamous serial killer that was put to death.
Anyway the guy kept picking the same name or a close variation. Heck he even tried to say to the SFA that was his real name. Needless to say the SFA was nice enough to point out that was not the name on his account.
In the end I believe It was changed for him, Ie they ask you to submit a couple names and they will tell you if any of the names are acceptable or not. Once that is done they assign the new name.
I’m discussing obviously sexual and racist references that are beyond the realms of decency here.
I’m not a prude by any means, I come from Scotland where sarcasm and dirty jokes, etc are part of life. However, I know what is offensive to others.
If you think about it when you enter a name on whatever server you want to play on, the system is smart enough to know if that name has been used, hence there is a database of names that it refers to and sees a duplicate. It’s not that hard.
Keep in mind like with a name like yours there could be millions of variations alone. All the high ASCII letters for each letter is mind blowing to think of.
Oh, I get that, and you are correct. However, at one time you were not allowed ASCII letters if I remember correctly? Now they are allowed?
If that is the case then Blizz has made their job way harder.

Yes at one point they where not allowed. But since we have people from other countries around the world playing they had to allow it. Some countries and cultures use these type of letters often.
Even when they had not been permitted they where not blocked. That is going back a number of years as to when that happened.
Maybe one day they can have a AI that will be able to seek out these names and help keep it from happening. Until then this is what we have.
The names I have reported recently used alternate spellings and special characters to get past the censors that would normally block foul language. I think it would be very hard to write an algorithm that would censor every possible way to spell a curse word, so reporting is the next best option.
Right-click the name, select “Report Player” then select “Inappropriate name” in the drop-down menu, select “Character Name” and add a brief explanation then submit. You can also report inappropriate guild names.
And if you tried, you’d run afoul of the “Scunthorpe problem.”
