ok. I reported someone for ummm using rather unpleasant terms directed towards me. The instant I did they somehow wound up on some kind of “hidden ignore list”. They aren’t IN the ignore list, but as i was told by someone else I am now ignoring them. I feel it is my right to decide for myself if I want to ignore someone or not. Just because their language is against policy doesn’t mean I want to cut off all communication with them.
HOW DO I FIX THIS?
Just log out of the game and back in. Language (and spam, IIRC) reports put them on a temporary ignore list until you log out. I believe it’s just that character you ignored them on, but doesn’t hurt to log out of the game entirely.

Simple, just log off the character you reported them on and then back in again.
The right-click-report is designed to report the offending text and then put that offender’s account on a temporary ignore that only lasts until you log out.

When you report somebody, it places them on ignore for the rest of your gaming session. As soon as you log out, that list is cleared. This way, if you have very little space on your ignore list left, you are not potentially not having room to perma ignore somebody. As soon as you log out, even to switch characters, it goes away.
