People are absolutely terrible at this game; they need a game more their own pace and to stop ruining it for others. I am hoping something else siphons these people out.
I see no strategy, no cc on heals, mythic plus and raid and taught them to sit in one spot and do a DPS rotation and stare at the meters.
Curious, did anything come of these reports? Last season, I had some unhinged players who wanted to scapegoat me (healer) and called to report me for… playing the game? I just reported them back, took screenshots, recorded footage in the event my account had any penalties.
Nothing happened to my account. But since I hit my goal of 1800 and got my vanilla mog on my priest, I don’t play Blitz anymore. Why risk account infraction due to abuse of Blizzard’s automatic report system and toxic keyboard babies? I do feel for the sane, non-toxic DPS players who get stuck with 20-45 min queues though because of the bad apples.
I’ve been saying for awhile people who call to report players for not doing anything wrong should be an offense resulting in a ban itself; I did a lot of pvp in SL, quit during DF, and when I came back last season to check out pvp the prevalence of people trying to spite report others was absolutely pathetic.
I think it’s pretty rare that people wouldn’t let Ret Paladins sit nodes. Was there a specific reason for it? Maybe the Ret wasn’t experienced enough, so others didn’t trust him to hold the node?
If a Ret hasn’t hit 1.8k CR but somehow ends up in a 2.8k MMR game, I’d definitely prefer 2.5k CR players such as a Sub or an MM with his pet to sit the node instead.
Just argue back but don’t say things you shouldn’t, you won’t get banned. I do it all the time
If people try to blame me for loses in blitz I just make fun of them. If I don’t get an angry whisper after the game it’s disappointing
First, just because someone said they are reporting you, doesn’t mean they actually did.
Second, if they told others to report you, you should absolutely report them for saying that by right clicking their chat line and reporting it. Calling on others to report someone IS against the rules.
Third, even if they did report you, as long as you did nothing to break the rules then nothing will happen. It’s best to just not even engage as often these people are trying to bait you into saying something that does break the rules so they can report you. Just report them, ignore them, and move on with playing the game.
I think I saw you last night on a different DH! I was off-carting with you in SSM. Then the next game I fought against you in DWG.
Blitz sounds like something you go in, turn off all chat, and just do what you can, pray you win. Doesn’t sound like much fun if you don’t play meta.
Chat is fine for Blitz. Actually, positive communication is pretty important.
Most of my blitz matches I’ve lost have either been with teams that kept dead silent, or on teams with someone trash talking the team. I won’t judge anyone for turning chat off but having it on definitely helps with callouts and such.
Blitz is actually pretty fun, but the queue times kill it for me. I can wait 25+ minutes for blitz, or 5 minutes for randoms, or play something like BF6 or OW2 with a couple minute queues at most for most things.
It’s hard to justify spending literally more time in queue than playing blitz. ![]()
You don’t play Blitz.
Did you ask or did you order the ret to sit?
Probably told the ret to sit, didn’t look to see if the ret agreed, then blamed the ret for not sitting the base.
