So again enters common sense. It should be rockin that Nightbourne skull incredibly hard that common sense dictates these topics go here and these go there. And i’d take you more seriously but you don’t even recognize the incredibly trolly nature these classic posts take. They are made to incite rage. Again, no purpose here.
Blizzard isn’t usually fast enough to delete threads fast enough for us not to see them, there are times threads get taken down with a quickness but that isn’t usually the case. You’re around the forum enough that you should would know this.
I do applaud your positive and hopeful attitude regarding the topic though.
Again, I have no control over the content of said posts. What I’m saying is, there is nothing specifically that says “No posts containing Classic can be placed in GD”.
What I believe more is that false flagging is a non-issue. And there is really not much people that “abuse” it. So you wouldn’t have enough people getting suspended for it that one would break and make a post about it.
For the 3rd of fourth time, they didn’t think they needed to because common sense dictates they seperate on their own. But ofc someone HAS to sniff or drink the gasoline or tide pods and now we have warning labels on those.
Appeals to reason don’t really matter too much when dealing with a
Okay. Again, that comparison is a fail. Posting about something pertaining to classic in GD isn’t akin to poisoning or harming yourself with dangerous chemicals. You can not like it, as much as you want. However, the posts can be put here in this forum.
Huge difference. Classic posts in a retail forum are harmful to the community for the reasons previously outlined. Occasional playful RP is not. The RP community does not antagonize mythic raiders en masse in an attempt to convince them of the “right” way to play the game.
This is where the common sense is supposed to come into play when it comes to determine whether or not a thread is appropriate. It certainly seems that most of the posters in this thread have the correct intuition in that regard.
Yes it is. Because these things didn’t have warning lables until someone did something incredibly freaking stupid with them. You know gas is deadly if consumed. But you drink it anyways. So to cover their rear they now put warning labels on everything because people are monumentally stupid.sometimes willfully.
The content of previous posts doesn’t have to chastise everyone who has something to say about Classic. Even if it goes here.
You make a very good point, this is why the forums should have <3 likes and </3 dislikes. Also there should be a option to ignore a person as well to help keep things civil.
What I see is people being willfully stubborn. I don’t like thing. So, thing doesn’t belong in my backyard. I’m sorry, that’s not how things work.
Setting up preconceived notions like your examples show is most certainly trolling. They are not looking to discuss, they are looking to stir the pot.
You are being willfully stubborn. People have outlined why its a bad idea and all you can point to is well the rules dont say we cant! Well at first they didn’t have no running signs at pools until it became an issue. And were having issues with trolls, now.
That’s exactly how it works, though. Were you around when the communities feature was added? The communities subforum didn’t exist until GD was absolutely flooded with requests and invite links. From that point on community-related content has not been allowed on GD because it does more harm than good.
Until they are outlined as not allowed here. They will continue to come here. This is my entire point.
Sorry, but that’s projection.
Saying “NEENER NEENER, I GOT X AND YOU DIDN’T” is certainly trolling.
Asking for a reasoned discussion is not. If you are baited into getting heated over the subject, that’s on YOU not the OP.
And you should be using your critical thinking skills as to why they shouldnt be. As i said, common sense is a very useful skil, i’d suggest developing one.
I’ve been around since Vanilla (meme but true). I’ve seen everything from the Real ID disaster, to this recent to do about nothing.
