Report afk abuse

if enough report its instant

But yes, a ā€œfewā€ reports will put you on a timer. But enough votes (more than half maybe?) will auto-kick. Goes back to:

goes back to

vote kick pve =/= Abuse of report afk in pvp

Yeah no itā€™s kind of the exact same thing

sure  just like using the report feature to squelch someone as a group is the same thing right?

Thanks guys like I said itā€™s been a while so i didnt know you could be insta kicked. I havenā€™t had it happen to me personally but if you factor in how little I pvp then that would probably be why.

Oh so this is pvp ,oh ok well that yes even if your there ,they can do it.

This isnt a major problem, you lost 10 minutes (or is it 30 i cant recall cause it literally never happens) out of the possible 8,409,600 minutes in 16 years, you lost maybe up to 60. which you could have used to do other things.

They could do something like World of Tanks, where if you get reported AFK and donā€™t do some minimum level of activity then you donā€™t receive any rewards for that match.

But 1 minor inconvenience in the game for him means Blizzard needs to change the way things work, even though Iā€™m sure over 90% of the time itā€™s used how itā€™s supposed to be!!

Not sure about this part actually. Care to elaborate

Yes that would work but some people would disagree to it because itā€™s ā€œa vote kickā€ for the premades and griefers

What would dictate ā€œminimalā€, and can you AFK after that? Or what happens if you join the end of the match, active 100% of the time, but donā€™t trigger that ā€œminimalā€ level?

Not against the idea, but how would you make it so it actually works and doesnā€™t screw someone over?

Sure works that same as the ā€œvote kick in pvpā€ a group of people right click report you for spamming or whatever and your squelch aka muted for 24 hrs. It use to be a suspension. 5 report spam form different accounts would get you a 24 hr vacation back in the day now itā€™s just A squelch. So under your logic that would be fine too but fortunately blizzard used to actually take action against people for abusing it. Majority rules right? That should be perfectly fine for me and my friends to decide if you can talk for 24 hrs under your logic

Thatā€™s one of the few problems, as you canā€™t join a match on WoT after itā€™s already started, so no worries there.

Most AFK reports there are either against bots or players who lost connection, so the minimum should be easily attainable. Maybe they could also make it so you canā€™t join a match after a certain amount of time has elapsed.

Does that go against the ā€œin gameā€ voice comms they have? Iā€™ve only used that once and not sure what the extent/limitations on it are

And yeah, Iā€™d be fine with that too honestly

No need to cast a spell. Just move your character and you wonā€™t go afk.

That would be unfair though. Iā€™ve seen late comers turn a BG around. And it would make GY farming so much easier too if itā€™s a landslide and people leave and you canā€™t get any new people to come in because X amount of time has passed.

Again, not against your ideas, just throwing out scenarios which happen fairly often

Well, if you need to ā€œactivateā€ PvP, then youā€™d have to do a little more than that

Thats what I am referring to

Ah roger. Does that mute you for 24 hours in chat then? Just wanting to get this straight
