should be but appears if its a group or a premade that reports you its instant
Depends on how many people report. If there’s a small number, you get put on a timer. A larger number (not sure what the numbers are exactly), it’s instant
Edit: so in the event of a pre-made, anyone seeing someone new join, the whole lot of them can instant report and boom, you’re done

And no way to automate or police it. It’s the people choice. Majority rules. It sucks, but again, it’s better than allowing everyone to AFK
‘Report AFK’ should only kick someone if they’re actually AFK. Anything else should be a normal report.
remove the instant kick Majority should not rule in Bgs since we dont have a vote kick in them
thats what I am saying but you have people like Grizzle who seem to think its okay to be used as a “vote kick”
So again, I just have to move or cast a spell every couple minutes and spend 20 seconds in a 20 minute BG and not be kicked.
That’s the issue. Your “solution” is to allow people to AFK
its not that its ok. Its the best system that works, doesnt always work perfectly but 9/10 times it does. Would you rather they hire 1000 new GM’s just to monitor individual BG’s? How would you make a better system that players can use without an hour long wait?
AFK abuse is supposed to be an actionable offense; tell Blizz to get more Customer Support instead of advocating for a system that allows players to be abused who did nothing wrong.

Correct me if I’m wrong or it has since changed (indent pvp much and still working on rank ten just for artifact xmogs) but if reported for afk I thought you get a short 1-2 min counter where unless your actually afl you can dispel by doing stuff?
