Replace weapon or armor first?

I know usually for melee the answer is weapon, but if my current weapons are 233, would it make more sense to upgrade some of my 226 pieces first?

I was thinking the same thing. But since stuff scales to pvp now at extra I lvl. I’m going for weapons still, upgrade them they will go to 252 if your already 1800+

When I get new weps the damage on my tooltips doesn’t skyrocket or anything for the costs of purchasing them.

It was a no brainer in the past when abilities were based off weapon dps but it’s not as obvious now

Weapon will keep games fast. Gonna go for a weapon. Hoping I get one from the vault too.
