With something that more than 5 people will actually play
Normally I’d agree but then I’d be afraid we’d get something akin to Vulpera.
I’d have played Mechagnomes if they were actually gnome cyborgs; fully mechanical.
It’s this half-mech look I can’t stand.
Poor mechagnomes and vulpera.
That’s okay. I like you both just the way you are.
Edit: I’m still holding out for those grump old turtle people.
What, like the Sethrak?
That’d be a real shame, wouldn’t it?
No they’d be alright.
the issue is there’s no fully cyber/fully mechanical option
as for you op expected from a vulpera.
No thank you, I enjoy my Mechagnomes.
I kinda like the aug look. It’s got this original Deus Ex but trashy and also a bit mad max if Tolken wrote it kind of feel to it.
High elf / San’layn / Dark Ranger
The entirety of the Alliance playerbase would probably weep if for once we were given a high quality race like this.
I’m being dramatic, but it’s also true.
I don’t understand why they didnt go with the Naz’jatar faction races.
Alliance would rage if Horde get another pint-sized race and they get a normal size one
I like my mechagnome.
I see these threads a lot, but then in game when I get in to groups all people say is how they want to unlock mechagnomes, soooo idk man I think yall just like to whine.
Give me Tuskarr.
To be honest i’m surprised they didn’t get modular racials like Zandalari. Would of been a good chance to have them swap out limbs for different things. I don’t mind them, but I really wish they had far more customizations.
They shouldn’t be called Mechagnomes. They should be called junker gnomes.
The biggest issue with the Mechagnomes is the lack of creative writing behind them. Take their counterparts as an example: we learn a great deal about the Vulpera in Voldun as we quest through there and they eventually become welcomed allies into the Horde.
By contrast, Mechagnomes get a, “My dad can’t tell me what to do” storyline that cumulatively, takes about ten minutes to tell. And does Erazmin get a proper introduction to other Alliance leadership? No. Instead, Mekkatorque gets written out of the story and placed at the end of a cleared dungeon while Erazmin, the one who LED the Rustbolt Rebellion completely cedes all power.
Six people, thank you.
