Repeat After Me

Are we still trying to apologize for that nonsense? I’ve been in several other stress tests and yes you do get to login. The email says to play and share your experience. Go away with this nonsense, it was clearly falsely advertised. The fact that people with beta accesses could login and create a char instantly with priority access was blatant. The latter is even more ridiculous considering these people can go back to playing until August with no issue. Wouldn’t have killed anyone to let others do so.

Because the beta servers were down during this time, they got priority.

This was a stress test.

Cherry picking goes well with shilling, but it would be more effective if you knew what you were talking about. Stress test advertised to login and play isn’t rocket science despite how much nonsense you’re willing to spout.

This applies more to you, since thousands of people did get to go in and play.

Again. If you’re gonna shill don’t cherry pick. Everyone who got the email saying they could play should have been able to play. If not don’t write the email as you can play. It’s really simple, I’m not sure how this is difficult to get.

They should have also been able to read the words “stress test” too.

Cause they were bigger than the rest.

Really running out of nonsense to say are you? It doesn’t matter if play was in size 5 font, it’s in the email.

Yes and people could play up to level 5, which a bunch of people did.

That’s nice. Once again not “everyone” who got the email saying they could “play up to level 5” was able to do so, making it wrong and a false promise. How much simpler can this be to understand honestly…

Yes they “could”, and also in big letter at the top stating it was a stress test, not an open Beta. It was neither wrong nor a false promise.

Just looked at the email, there’s no “” . Therefore yes everyone was supposed to be able to play. Also yes it is a stress test, do you have a definition of that where it says we can’t login ? No? Didn’t think so. This was false advertising pure and simple

*pinches ridge of nose. The “” was my addition to point it out.

Yes, Stress Tests are pushing things past the point of breaking to see how well they can handle it. Server overload was part of the test.

Cool link a source please and make sure it includes it saying you can’t play in these tests after being specifically told you could, I’ll wait .

I kind of feel bad for Blizzard. I mean they ate giving their customers the benefit of the doubt in knowing what a stress test involves, and yet they still are getting people crying in the forums about not getting in. During a stress test. A thing designed to specifically break the game.

Do they need to stop treating people like rational adults and detail everything that is going to happen during this test?

Take a little responsibility for yourselves.

Cool. Didn’t find the part saying you can’t play during the stress test after being told you can. Can you highlight that part of the wiki article ?
