No, that was only a part of the email (a part you and other tunnel vision onto).
The rest of it was pointing out it was a stress test which it was announced as such.
I don’t think you can reason with some people. It’s the definition of stress test. The whole point of this test is to see how much the servers can take, not to guarantee access to everyone who was invited. I’d argue its a bad test if there’s no issues. The whole purpose is to get an idea of what’s going to happen at launch so they can provide the best experience when it’s the real deal.
Also, can’t you just log in right now and play? Or is it back down? After the stress test window they said they were leaving it up for 24 hours. I was playing some last night.

Hmm good question. I’unno, back when I got the email I was excited but when I opened and it said stress test I noped all out of that.
Again I don’t think you understand. Let me make it clearer. The email contains that part, which we both agree on, which states you can play. Regardless of the rest (which does not invalidate the former if you read it), if you do not respect any part of the email, you’re miscommunicating and advertising something incorrectly.

Go back and read the post where I told you that trying to ‘lawyer’ this is ineffective. You just keep telling angry people they should have interpreted an email they got differently. The thing is, they didn’t. Telling them they’re wrong won’t make them any happier. Replying to every comment with “stress test” makes you sound like Ben Shapiro screaming “science.” Your argumentative tactics might work in a court of law, but not the court of public opinion.

If the email specifically stated you can play if the server allowed it, I would grant it to you, however it does not.

Maybe for the next stress test they should just put the definition of stress test at the bottom of the email.

You mean the email that says its a stress test?
There is a difference between not being able to log in because too many people stressed and broke the system, and not being able to login because blizzard locked the server to prevent them from logging in. The people are frustrated because blizzard made it so many got pushed into fake logins. They artificially capped the number of people to get in. They actually prevented a stress test on game from occuring by doing this.
You need to provide proof of this if you want to keep making these claims.
