Often, and the frequency i need to do those (not to be confused with want to do them) aren’t comparable to dungeon groups where this happens often.
For every 1 interrupt i need to do in world content, dungeon content requires double that.
I’m pretty sure your confusing retail with classic here. I would believe that only in Classic.
Given how fast a rare dies, this doesn’t happen as frequently as you may think, or the amount of times as you may think.
As i said before, because retail open world content is easy, there’s not going to be much to apply it back to normal dungeons. And quite honestly, i think it would be better for people who are learning the play to start with the normal dungeons, as they should really because it’s a much better way of learning how to do the dungeons by… doing the dungeons.
You may obviously disagree and deny the following possibly, but the choice still falls on to that player. Especially since there’s groups on retail who wouldn’t mind helping others out.
MoP actually. Patch 5.4.0 to be more precise. It’s only in WoD that it required you to do them for silver for heroic dungeons, but after that, it was reversed and haven’t been updated ever since.

Well you’re sadly going to have to deal with it, because even if 1/3 do learn from being taught while doing the dungeon, it’s still a valid way to teach somebody to run a dungeon.
Plus, singling out people and teaching them isn’t embarrassing them. It’s simply helping them, though communication. Something tells me that you’re projecting here… 
Wisdom does not always come with age. In this particular case, you’re sharing your subjective experience and applying that to everybody else’s here.
“Yeah listen to me, i’ve never done any dungeon in this expansion yet, and yet i know what I’M talking about and i’m saying this way is better!”… that makes your take even worse.

lol - nope. I play feral, I am always healing and interrupting and I cc when I am running away because some mob I didn’t want aggro’d.
I have seen it happen twice to that extent and I have only killed him about 10 times.

oh so it is only Shadowlands dungeons that people ever get kicked in - pretty sure I have heard complaints every expansion.
you can still vote kick someone, it’s just that now you need to use /kick instead of being able to right click → vote to kick

Well you’re posting on a Classic toon, so either you’re lying and you’ve never played it, or you are actually confusing retail for Classic, thinking their both the same. Either way, you don’t appear or sound like you’ve actually have played Retail.

…Maybe it’s just me, but that sounds easier to do actually. Right click on somebody, type /kick, and bam. Or even macro it (if it’s possible).

Pretty sure vote kick’s interface is just broken because of cross faction stuff. You can still kick people by targeting them in group and using /kick

They should have new players marked for all players to see, not just guides. Most people wouldn’t know it if they ran into a new person unless the new person was spouting the info out.

I also know plenty of bad players who have been playing this game for a decade. My last guild was the old clickers retirement home and we had plenty of bad players doing it for years.

And this mentality is still the norm over in FFXIV. People are ungodly patient and seeking to help all the time.
Here though? Well…there’s a reason casual and newer players quit.

I had two groups last night with people just not playing. Tank just pouting and sitting and a rogue in a different group that would just stop playing and then catch up after a boss. Today we have a warrior dps just chilling at the start of the dungeon soaking up exp.
Put vote kick back.

So people should only do leveling dungeons with the friends they brought to the game with their entire middle school class, like you did?
If they did this intentionally, it was Blizzard telling players that they have to be nice to malicious trolls who hold power over them to destroy their experience in the game. That’s the community you support.

Interesting. Maybe it’s just disabled until the group is allowed to kick. Don’t really care either way but can’t see a change as big as that not making it into the patch notes. Probably just some weird bug.

It’s not in the patch notes. Vote to kick is greyed out for the duration of the instance. Blizzard has not responded to questions in the bug reports forum.
