Removing vote-kick from dungeons, was by far the stupidest and short-sighted thing Blizzard could possibly do. The may as well also force us too stay in the dungeon and grey out the “leave dungeon” as well. But that is complete suicide. And would fatally undermine leveling/the point of dungeons. Not too mention the game itself.
This is just slightly shy of that.
In the long and short-run of it, the vote-kick while It has been abused, has also helped dungeon groups kick out, limit, or prevent players from overstepping (pulling to many mobs, bosses, getting ahead of the group, removing disconnected/logged off players so another could join, etc.)
These facts (although from other player’s perspectives, situations, and thoughts might vary. Big, small, or indifferent.) Has kept them in-line with the potential fear of being kicked.
That’s gone now…
So now the whole dungeon group could potentially suffer because of one or more persons just being a moron, jerk, or simply doesn’t know what the hell their doing (regardless If on purpose or not.)

Currently wiping in LFR because someone is trolling by pulling trash and bosses from all over. and now the group has no recourse so thanks for that blizzard

Surely that’s gotta be a bug.
No way Blizzard looks at LFR and random BG’s and thinks “yes, people will not act like turdburgers if we remove the only recourse for them doing so”.

I don’t know about LFR or Pvp. But for dungeons in retail. There is no fallback anymore.
Reporting will likely do nothing. If I’m remembering correctly, Blizz’s PR department is dead. And reports are delegated to an automaton. So… yeah.

are all the groups that are having this issue not cross faction or is that a thing for lfr / dungeon groups?
These things aren’t very hard and have been abused. Vote kick content, lfr included, is easy enough to finish with less than half the group.

Its also been used to kick people learning to play because deemed no good enough. You guys abused it and now we lost it. Why we can’t have nice things.

people learning to play shouldn’t be doing dungeons - they should stick to solo then do normal dungeons for awhile. By the time they get to heroic dungeons there should be no excuse.

Is this just a temporary bug, or an official change ?
I always thought you should be able to ‘enable vote kick’ or not, as an option before queuing for groups and only be placed into groups where the other players have selected the same option as you.
Considering cross-faction isn’t available in places vote kick is… >_>
