Removing valor cap = burn out = people quitting

Valor and conquest shouldn’t be capped to begin with.

Good for alts. Up until this point you were severly punished for trying any new character or rerolling because there was 2 months of raid gear you missed. Also new and returning players.

I think they should uncap valor, I really don’t see any reason for the cap.

People mentioned above about the equivalent of raid, but it isn’t really.

I can log on 2 nights a week, clear heroic and mythic raid then not log on again.

With mythic+ you have to log on daily to farm gear, or valor. Ive ran Court of Stars an absurd amount of times trying for the helm. Yet it still hasn’t dropped for me.

Back in the day I was a hardcore raider, now not so much. Finding a raiding guild is hard and quite the commitment. I don’t think I am unique in this.

Now days I enjoy the heck out of farming mythic+. From what I have seen you more or less have 2 primary groups playing this game now. Raiders & Mythic+ers. The raiders may dabble in mythic+ but most mythic+ people don’t really venture to much into raiding unless its to get set pieces earlier, then we build our gear around what set pieces we get, until gear piece trade is released.

The final point is the valor cap is redundant. What I mean by that is, you can only upgrade a single piece of gear based on your IO. I am completely fine with the IO gate, but if you make a mistake on an item use your valor to upgrade it, you lose that valor until the next week.
