Which post? I’m not scrolling through an entire thread for what is probably going to be a waste of my time.
BM is not really satisfying to play at all. Most of your animations are pointing and then shooting a blob of snot.
Skill issue. Sorry not sorry.
Yes. Skill issue for you indeed. Another concession accepted with love and joy.
I’m really tired of the trolling from people with the stupidity of “HUR DUR just play a spec you hate lawl!!!”
The thing is, they never even said they were getting rid of pets at all, they said they’re getting rid of pet functionality. This idea that they promised one thing but are doing something else is simply incorrect
And I think you’re misunderstanding the idea when comparing it to beast mastery; with BM, you’re commanding an interactive creature that has a tangible presence. The pet’s location and presence on the field in the first place impacts the hunter’s effectiveness. For MM, the Eagle is, in effect, entirely part of the spell effects and has no tangible presence
Not really, no.
MM pets don’t hold threat very well.
Are you really this dense?
Keyword “instead”.
I don’t want any dev time going into designing a split paradigm for the spec. Simple. It will be better if it is a focused, non-pet spec
They did say that though. Very unambiguously.
very based. nothing is worse than borderline useless talent points especially if you need to simply take them as a pathway talent.
Onhara (i misspelled that), the Eagle Spirit has been associated with Hunters at least since Legion as far as I’m aware, playing a part in the Class Campaign, and they’ve had other eagle motifs sprinkled here and there for awhile.
What annoys me personally is how people take a new feature and decide it sucks before it is released. Wait for it to go live, then share your opinion.
Are you sure it isn’t the Centaur clans?
Or how about “no” and this take is less than an excuse?
I feel like there was a Dr. Seuss book about this very phenomenon.
“You’re stupid now watch me prove myself wrong”
Frankly I’m surprised I didn’t have you on ignore already, given your attitude
Key word: traditional
Both
BM Plays NOTHING like Marks, and there are plenty of situations where Marks would use a pet:
- Delves
- PVP
- Solo world content
When you tell someone to “just play BM” you are saying “Just play the spec that plays nothing like the one you enjoy”.
Imagine if they forced druids to remain in a single form based on their spec at all times (excluding travel forms), but your root breaks and other shifting effects just sort of happened at random times.
Brann is getting a tank spec in 11.1, MM hunters are getting all the utility from having a pet in PvP innately, and there is nothing in the overworld you can’t do without a pet
