Removing Mythic Loot from M+ Seems to Have had a Bad Effect

As a pure Delve player reading this thread for some reason, I feel that if Delves are capped at T11, then so should M+ be capped at +11.

The motivation for anything past a 10 is score if the run is failure than what motivation is there to finish? Sure they could had mythic loot to 12s but than you would just be complaining thats 13s key disbanding and so on and so on. If all you want is gear then stick with tens.

What do you mean removing? M+ never dropped myth track directly, it has always been strictly from the vault.

This guy doesn’t even know what he had, let alone what he wants

It would be better if mythic was allowed its own none time gated gearing track but the wow forums is kinda full of people who can’t do that level of content and are envious of those who can.

Turns into crabs in a bucket…

Keys after 10 are entirely for the IO. If it’s not going to be possible to time, leaving is perfectly acceptable

Its par for the course. Once you get past reward level (10s), the only thing to go for is score/in time.

If its not gonna happen, no point in wasting your time

Nah. Getting mythic vault for something as easy as 10s, and the way seasons get easier and easier, mythic track should be time gated.

-from a strictly m+ player

Mythic gear drops off of Mythic Vexie that is easier then a +8 so I don’t get the argument.

M+ is weird in how it’s the only content where it’s expected that you should quit if you’re not going to succeed. In progression raiding it’s common to wipe all night and not kill the boss you’re working on. In PVP it’s accepted that you might lose. But in M+ there’s this feeling that if you’re not going to win it’s a waste of time so you should leave. It highlights just how many players run M+ for score instead of because they enjoy it.

You can’t spam vexie, and you’re adamantly against removing raid lockout.

Once a week chance. Its really not even an argument.

Right I am also for rewards matching the difficulty of the content. Its like I said earlier this topic always turns into crabs in a bucket as heroic raiders explain why people better then them shouldn’t have a sensible gearing path.

Gearing doesn’t exist in isolation but if you want mythic loot from m+ which is fair, then m+ loot can’t be used in raid. The only reason mythic plus doesn’t drop mythic loot is because raid exists.

Mythic raiders are getting mythic drops though

Refer to my earlier post about crabs in a bucket. This thread always devolves into heroic raiders making insane arguments for why people better then them can’t have a sensible gearing path.

But I’m not a heroic raider?

Rather remove mythic loot from vault. Set heroic raid (and drops) to m+10.

Downscale mythic raid gear to heroic in m+.

Pug raids disband all the time after 1-3 wipes, that is basically the norm.

Or are you comparing pugging keys with guild raids? That tends to happen a lot when people comparing raiding to mythic+.

Obviously it’s tricky when raids have a ramping difficulty per boss and keys…don’t per dungeon.

No lockout also makes it difficult to have parity.

I’m always in favor of axing the great vault, but I don’t think uncapped mythic track from keys is the play.

So far pugging I feel 100000% more confident pugging into a 10-12 key will succeed than pugging into heroic Mugzee.

Leave mythic raid as challenge set
All gear stops at Hero track :+1:
