You still do need to gear up unless your raid can afford to carry you. I think badge gear in wrath was really the nail coffin for old raid tiers as it allowed you to run heroics to get all the gear you need and skip right to the latest raid tier.

Take pride in your accomplishments and let others enjoy the game too.
It’s an old game, we’re pretty far into this expansion, the game needs to continue to be welcoming to latecomers to prosper. Nobody really wants to run t5 content anymore and surely nobody wants to play a game where they are locked out of the things everyone else is doing.
You want to hold everyone to your high standards, gatekeep your own raid group.

agreed, removing the attunes for ssc/tk is fine, they were difficult to achieve and now they’re outdated it makes no sense anyway, but current content? ZA is a catchup raid, the current content is MH/BT and it’s silly to do this, just sort your own attune, it’s better some of the scrubs coming up at least cut their teeth a BIT in ssc/tk where its more forgiving, the amount of corpse walks i’ve had to do in mount hyjal because some scrub who can barely do their dps rotation stands in the fire probably exceed the number of hot dinners ive had.

well getting attuned to BT/MH is not remotely difficult at this point, just some time investment, and an attendance of the previous raid tier, which numerous guilds and gdkp groups still run, is not a big ask, so why remove it? Blizzard are solving problems only they see as problems.

to you and me, very little i presume, but to people playing on budget laptops with bad internet, who dont speak english well, there’s all sorts of difficult stuff for them to handle, that can make it a nightmare for everyone else. Dps who dont pickup the spike on najentus, who dont spread/stack when needed etc, the list goes on.
this is why i dont pug unless its like gruul or mag
peoplo who didn’t even tryed vashj and kael in p2 cleared first week, at this point player retention its more important just let everyone in and call it done. Its not like they are nerfing anything in the raid

The OP is onto something. Once the attunement is removed so is the accomplishment - even for those that did it.
But it sure is convenient and so nobody cares.
