Now that WoW has 1/10 the playerbase it had a decade ago, they need tokens and $ store to pump the whales and make money.

If I had to take a stand against something in this game, it would be the WoW store. Itās a nice hill to die on. If they want to push this p2w mentality down our throats, they can remove our subscription fee and box price.

This is a good move for blizzard. Those that boost are going to be dedicated raiders and key runners. I donāt see a mass exodus of these types of players just because they have to rework their gold earning efforts a bit. All this does is gets more people playing the game as itās meant to be.

The population started dying before the token ā¦In fact that is one of the things that probably sparked the token idea.
Hey the game director is on your server find when he is online and propose your idea to him instead of in here . Might actually have a better chance of someone from Blizz actually seeing it then you would in here.

Removing tokens would cause more people to quit because many people pay for their sub with gold. The token is not the problem with the game.

Iām starting to think that the size of the player base is more important to the player base than to Blizzard. You guys try to tie EVERYTHING to the player base.
How many of you are still friends with people you went to elementary school with? Isnāt it possible to just grow up and grow apart?

I wish they would. Inflation is out of control. Old gear put up for millions on the auction house is just stupid also. Pre-token I was never rich but never poor either. Now I just feel like Iām poor no matter what.
We pay a box price, we pay a sub. Gold selling is detrimental to any game. But when the company decides to just sell the gold themselves really screws up the games natural economy. Feel like I can not buy anything on the AH unless I do long grinds for gold or shell out cash for it.
THIS IS NOT A F2P GAME! I SHOULD NOT BE FEELING LIKE THIS!

WoW token has no impact on inflation, as it does not generate any extra gold.
The āold gear put up for millionsā are most likely some rare mogs, they are posted there not for you to gear your low lvl alt with but for collectors.

I would quit the game if I couldnāt buy game time and expansions with gold. The value of using real money isnāt there in WoW anymore. Not paying $60 and $15 each month for two content patches per 2 year expansion.

Nice that the unemployed can afford a roof over their head, internet and electricity. If they spend less time farming for gold maybe they could find a job.

I would be so broke without tokens. Itās not easy to make gold anymore unless you play the AH and Iām no good at that. Blizzard likes it this way. I understand that callings are easy gold, but itās not enough to fund expensive legendaries.

Wow tokens most likely wonāt go away. I personally donāt like that people still judge others based on ranks when clearly everything can be bought from raids to pvp ranks. There is no good in tokens and unfortunately some will seek other ways to spend money on gold. No win. Those who claim they would quitā¦ LIES
Aww I almost forgot. Some of those coming to the defense for tokens, why all the 6 month sub mounts?

You wont find ANY of those mounts in my collection. I have paid with tokens for my sub since day 1 when they came out. You can believe this, i WILL quit the heck outta this game in seconds if tokens go away.
PS, I get my gold the old fashioned way every month, dailies, and selling items on the AH whenever i get something worth selling!
