Remove World Buffs From Raids

I know man, I know.

So Warcraft Logs just put out a poll on their front page asking the community whether (a) a buff-free parsing category should be added, and (b) whether that should become the new default competitive category. If you have an opinion on this topic, then please make an account on the site if you don’t have one already and vote! The decision that they make will have huge impacts on how Classic will be played moving forward.

I would really like some actual verification that people actually played in vanilla.

Also, Kevin Jordan is not the end all argument on world buffs. Blizzard and their subordinates have no identity other than making money. They don’t get to decide what they made is used for when the players are smarter than the devs by now.

Hey it’s a few months into AQ now, just wanted to say world buffs still suck.

theyre mega cringe

I’d like to see a no world buff no consumable logs. Otherwise I couldn’t care less.

Hey, this would suck for low levels. Those buffs are a lifesaver when doing RFC or WC when your gear is only Common quality.

Be like our guild don’t require any world buffs. Let people decide if they want them or not.

All we really require is a few nature pots and then some random consumes when new tiers come out and were attempting bosses for the first time. Sometimes maybe on the second week we kill them too, to make sure they are smooth.

I have lots of fun just playing the game that way honestly. And we kill all raid content so its w/e

No.

This doesn’t go far enough.

Remove world buffs from the game, entirely.

Delete them all.

Sick necro.

Look around you. It’s pretty obvious few actually “played” Vanilla. And when i say play, i don’t mean make 10 alts to hit level 30 on all of them. Nor do I mean, mindless running around BGs chasing HKs. Nor do I mean doing MC after patch 1.10. Pre beta forums, the talk of TBC was taboo let alone retail. Now, it’s full of it. Classic is a watered down private server with a ton of Retail as its main ingredient.

Agree. Virtually all the problems I see IE: raid logging, griefing, dispelling, etc is all in the service of the WB meta.
