Removing it isn’t really fair to the (very tiny) minority of players that like it. I would say letting us blacklist it would be sufficient, that’s my take on it anyways.

Yeah blacklisting is a better option, but since we did have that and Blizzard removed it, idk if it’s worth even asking for it back.
And this deserves a bump as I was about to make my own topic about this.

While I can agree with this sentiment. The issue is what do we do with “Dead” content or “Hated” content?
Take Strands of Ancients the worst BG ever!! It got removed. The fact is I don’t and most players don’t want to fight Sieges that is PvE and removes the PvP from the BG. The Devs don’t know how to balance Siege/Cannon maps to make them about PvP. So they are massively hated and a failed concept.
I rather they removed WG/Isle and put Siege maps to rest forever. Then add Tol Borad (no Sieges) and actually work on making the remaining BGs epic where there is tons of PvP in them. Where you get 100’s of HKs and 40-60 KBs.
Just do that…and…if they don’t want to remove Siege maps then dear lord let me Blacklist them so I can avoid them at all cost. They just will never be fun or have PvP in them. Blacklist please!! Although removing them is also a permanent fix then we can focus on perhaps…NEW more exciting BG content.
Uhhhh, just don’t play it? I don’t believe pruning is the answer, especially considering that PvP is already lacking in content as it is (compared to PvE).
For example I can’t be bothered to re-run Torghast a 4th/5th/6th/7th time on alts, so I just don’t do it… I’m not calling for Torghast to be removed/pruned 
The problem is there is no rewards/goodies for “specific” queue bgs, which is why blacklist would allow us to avoid this map while still earning the daily honor/conquest for getting a win.
Don’t remove it, just balance it. I don’t understand why Blizz allows this stuff to go unchecked for so long.
For offense, add ranged guards to the towers.
For defense, just remove the keep cannons. Between the workshops inside the keep, rpgs inside the keep, and the players themselves, there’s more than enough to defend the keep.
These two simple changes would make the games much more competitive.
And maybe take a break from this Horde on defense 99.9% of the time nonsense.

We don’t have Blacklisting though. So I get it then have to leave these BGs over and over again. It’s honestly a real pain for the community just so a few players can enjoy it. Sorry gonna stand ground on the rest of my post and the points I made.
I also don’t think just don’t play it is a good solution. You know removing the dead from a plant by pruning it does allow it to grow. Removing what doesn’t work to then focus on making the game better is a philosophy that makes sense to me.
Buff towers and make it the winning condition for defense.
Nerf base walls.
There’s nothing epic about a battleground with a timer.

Ok still would never want to do it with your suggestions. As long as Sieges are brokenly OP against players and remove all PvP count most of the player base out of that BG.
If Sieges did 1-2k dmg to player or NONE and you had to PvP over objectives then Siege maps might have something going for them. However as stated they can’t fix Siege maps and players massively hate them.
So just get them outta here and give them the Strands treatment. Design us some actual PvP maps please and thanks.
I would suggest having SR and BT be unoccupied at the start of the bg. Should make the winner of the team fight have an advantage. So many times I’ve won just by getting a catapult and flaming people.

You guys realize you can queue for individual battlegrounds right? You don’t get the random bonus but it’s not “random” if you can pick which “randoms” you want.
No they should just let players remove the one they hate from the queue.
And honestly, they just need to fix the balance again. It’s actually quite fun when it’s not broken.
Blizz please. PLEASE. Fix epic BGs or disable them.
WG defense winrate is something like 98%
