Remove titanforging

People complained about NEEDING gems and enchants. So Blizzard removed it. Now people complain professions aren’t needed enough. lol

You realize sockets are more powerful than 5 item levels?

To be honest, I’m pretty sure their initial approach when removing sockets from items and adding them as a RNG upgrade was “JC is too good of a profession”
It’s kind of been their approach in general though recently, X is too good we need to make it worthless.

How about crazy idea…“JC is too good compared to other professions”, well then “how do we make other professions compare?”

Honestly if their approach was JC was too good, I would be happy with not having sockets base on items and bring back solely the socket upgrade items.
Now for every 1 gem sold you have 1 BS buckle also required to be purchased etc etc.

Edit: Hell tailors enchant cloaks, BS sockets belts, LW patches pants, enchant does weapons/rings, engineering helm, alch already does flasks, inscrip does vellum (could do more)
Everything now has a service that players require.

5 of your slots are literally warforged/titanforged. If it’s that rare why is almost half your gear capable of forging forged? Whose the dense one now?

whaa a filthy casual you call, your self…Us filthy casuals pay as much to play and even flip the bill for your mighty raids. War-forge and Titan-Forge are rng half the time you never get the upgrade…

M+ always has a higher change to forge. You should know that and you act like warforged items are the end all be all. I really only have one titanforged item since weapons shouldnt titanforge.

and if it disgusts you so much why are you wearing all that titanforged gear you didn’t “earn”

Keep it but reduce its effect. As many have mentioned in other threads, limit it to maybe 10 or 15 ilvls max as a nice bonus.

Also, remove the RNG sockets and just put them back on gear. RNG sockets sucks imo.

If Blizzard really wants to keep the grind = power thing going then make adding a +5 ilvl to a piece of gear cost XYZ “Essences of Somthing” make each upgrade on a piece of gear cost progressively more. Allow casual players to grind for upgrades, but make it so almost a whole month of grinding is needed to add +20 ilvls to limit making a piece of gear too powerful. Also allows people who do higher content to get the increases but have to grind a lot less for the max ilvl value.

Seems like a decent middle ground to me that still allows gear progression to an extent.

Super simple … cap TF at heroic ilvl.

If you are mythic raiding you shouldn’t be relying on TF.

Not everyone is Method/Limit and clears the raid in the first week. A lot of players never even get BiS, since they can’t clear the raid while it’s the current “season”.

Blizzard wants different ways for people to gear. Raiding high end will be the fastest and most consistent way to get a high ilvl but obviously with some luck and persistence you can be just as high eventually doing other methods.

This is Blizzards design structure currently and they have shown zero intention of changing it. Stop worrying about what other people who do not do your content have. They have 0 impact on you.

Then don’t give warforged items gem slots, gg.

It wants more…and MORE…and MOAR!!

I mean * cough * * cough* it’s content with what it’s been given and * cough * gives praise to the holy father * cough * * cough *

Sockets are not related to WF/TF anyway it is just another layrer of “RNG”. So, who cares?

The problem is the can of worms from Mythic + they opened up. I mean they dug their own grave with that reward system. They have to cover a huge range of ilvl rewards because people who do higher keys expect better rewards as the difficulty increases and that’s what they get.

Not sure how to fix that at this point.

Both are random upgrades though, so they ultimately perform the same function. When talking about one you invariably talking also about the other.

Why should we be allowed to?

Cause it is fun when it pops. I am not concerned about raider’s egos. I am concernced about things that are fun.

I actually agree on this, Just having Warforged would be better and more often, but not like 5 levels below the high rating/ Mythic gear, more like 10, so in example Warforged can get up to 420 and the high end gear is 430-435

Yeah, well we could talk about M+ as well. I have found that most people that are against WF/TF/Socket are also against M+.

It reduces the gap between raiders and non-raiders, it doesn’t eliminate the gap. The people doing world quests and warfronts are still going to have lower average item levels compared to people who do harder content.

Hhhmm,that’s strange.

They need to remove warforge/titanforge and it has nothing to do with people not deserving the gear. Its bad for the game because you feel like you need to get all titanforged items to finish gearing.

If there is no end in sight, then gearing is just another timegated activity. You need something tangible to strive for, not RNG on top of RNG bound. WF/TF should not reward levels, only secondary stats like leech and sockets. Tf should offer two sockets and a secondary stat. The stats should be the only rng, the gems sockets guaranteed per wf/tf.
